An interesting tale that would be a good teaching text for a variety of subjects.

I am always pleased to see dyslexia friendly texts for young adults available at my library and am grateful to authors who try to give variety to this specialised genre. The star rating reflects my interest as an adult and not a judgement on quality for the intended audience.

This book really surprised me. To be honest i only read this chose this book because it looked quite short but as i was reading i realised that the book isn't that bad. I liked how the brother and sister had to try and escape the parallel universe to get back to their mum. A really good book.

Q: What were you like at school?

I think I was well-behaved at junior school, but I'm afraid my friends and I were rather naughty in some lessons at secondary school. My favourite subjects were always Art and English. I was quite good at hockey and athletics but hopeless at PE, which the games teacher thought was very puzzling. I remember dreading Thursday afternoons
