That was fun.

Goosebumps are always fun. I'm 30 years old and still get a good kick out of them. I remember being 10 years old and loves my I have a 9 year old to share them with.
I have been getting really into the Goosebumps series lately and this is the latest adventure I've read.

I give this book a 4 because I did get into the characters and found them believable and liked the minor twists added by R. L. Stine to make the story more intriguing. I also really enjoyed how he made 3 different stories all tie into one larger one. Another reason I liked this book was a little more personal creatively for me. A year ago I wrote a short story about a humanoid pumpkin, in a p

I think that gossebumps the Haunted Mask is a very good book because it does have horror and has 3 different parts. The first part is a guy named william he owned a mask shop then on day when he closed his mask shop he left and he heard someone's footsteps and he said, who's there?'' then there was no answer then when he got home they were knocking on his door he went to answer it and it was his brother. Then his brother took out mask's and then willi

Lu-Ann Franklin usually loves Halloween. Not this year. Her best friend, Devin O'Bannon, is going away for the week. And she has to go to a boring party where nothing exciting could ever happen. But when Lu-Ann comes face-to-face with The Haunted Mask, major trouble lies ahead.
Devin O'Bannon didn't want to leave his best friend Lu-Ann Franklin behind on Halloween. He didn't ask to go on this trip. And that was before he heard the stran

In my opinion,The Haunted Mask is the best book I have ever read!!!I am able to relate to Lu-Ann because sometimes I am not in the mood to go to one of my friends party just like Lu-Ann.I went to the party because I thought it would be rude and Lu-Ann also went because Polly was her best friend since kindergarten.I have never read a book this fabulous before.I think it's fabulous because I love how they describe the detail so well I can actually visualize it really good.If this book came out in ...more
Wanted: The Haunted Mask, by master scarer R.L. Stine, is the most recent addition to the Goosebumps series. The story is told in three parts - William’s story, Lu-Ann’s story and Devin’s story.

William, the owner of a mask store and a maker of masks, bumps into his estranged bother who gives him the most horrible looking masks. When they come alive, William decides to hide them away and protect them from being used by anyone.

Forty years later we are introduced to Lu-Ann and Devin. The two, alo

Lu-Ann and Devin are both complaining about Polly's Halloween party. Lu-Ann thinks it's boring; Devin won't be able to go because his father has bought a pumpkin farm and he won't be able to attend. After Polly brings out her most used party trick-- using static electricity to hold a balloon on her forehead-- Lu-Ann can no longer stand it and sneaks off to the attic with Brad and Marcus. There, they find the skeleton of William, who was introduced in the first chapter, who owned a mask store yea ...more

This was the first Goosebumps novel I've read, but when I was younger, I LOVED his Fear Street series. I remember them being really creepy. This novel...well, not so much.

A long time ago, a man named William made the best Halloween masks in the world---beautiful, creative and very lifelike. His brother, Randolph, comes to visit and he's made some masks, too...but his are terrifying. He forces one on William and the mask melds with his face. William manages to get it off, but his face comes off,

Goosebumps Wanted:The Haunted Mask by R.L. Stine. The book was published in 1920 and its a book/movie. The main character is William is the owner of shop that sells masks. Another important character in the story is Lu Ann she is a teenage girl that finds a mask in a chest that was in the attic of Polly's house. The third important of this book Devin and he moved from the city to the country side and his dad leased a pumpkin farm that people go to buy their pumpkins for Halloween. This story was ...more

You know a book is good, especially a middle grade book, when you dream about it, no, when you have a nightmare about it! People weren't kidding when they say that R.L. Stine is the Stephen King for kids!

The Haunted Mask is split up into three parts, which gives us three point-of-views...
The story starts out with shop owner named William who enjoys creating beautiful, exotic and happy masks. He believes that his masks are to bring fun and joy to the persons wearing them. But when his estranged b

The Haunted Mask was a pretty scary book. It’s about a girl name Lu-Ann and her friend Devin. Devin is going away for the week to help his dad out at a pumpkin patch, so Lu-Ann has to go to a lame Halloween party without him. While she is there she finds a mask and puts it on. Once she puts it on she can’t take it off and Devin has troubles of his own. I would recommend this book to anybody who loves a good horror story. R.L. Stine does a great job in capturing the reader in this book.
SPOOKY! I loved it! In it there were two stories, a story with a haunted mask, and a story with a haunted pumpkin patch. I will tell you a summary for the haunted mask. Lou-Ann had to go Polly's party. When she got there she found a devil mask. Then a skeleton attacked her. She got away, but when she put the mask on and then the mask made her go crazy and attack people. FIND OUT THE DETAILS IN THE REAL BOOK!

This was a great book.I loved the way the author put many people's experiences, and how all of the people's.experiences went to together

This is one of the best goosebumps book that I have read so far, but I do think you could've made it a bit longer or a part to for Polly second party. the reason I say you could've made it longer is because it only took me
less than an hour to finish
This is another really good book by one of my favorite authors which is R.L. Stine. All of his books are so detailed. But this one was just better. First of all it was so detailed that when the old man ripped the mask off his face along with his face. I had a perfect image of all the blood on the floor, the mask with the face in his had hand, and his face after ripping it off. This part was my favorite part even though it gave me GOOSEBUMPS,
In this book I really liked how R.L. Stine combined t
For kids horror, this can't be beat. It introduces the genre in a non gory way in which nobody gets hurt. Descriptive, uses devices, ripe with foreshadowing.. a halloween tale for all ages!

60% research, 40% nostalgia. Had a fun time reading RL Stein again.
It's entertaining :)

It was pretty entertaining. I don't find anything creepy at all, guess becasue I didn't grow up celebrating Halloween. I was raised on the other side of the world, in Asia. Anyway, it was pretty much a book for juniors, little children, I assume, so everything was kinda childish. Anyway, it's my opinion. :)
I thought it was a good book. A story in my thought of helping and loving no matter of how ugly you might be on the outside what matters is truly in. Scary in all three parts so scary in fact i never let my brother look
