Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj (birth name: Maruti Shivrampant Kambli) (April 17, 1897 – September 8, 1981) is a Indian spiritual teacher, Guru, who attained the supreme state of Moksha ("liberation" in Sanskrit) and then on, lived as a Jivan-mukta, in the absolute nonduality of Being.
