Despite the earlier parts of the book by the time I got to the and I found that I was really enjoying it. Unfortunately the earlier parts can get very bad; almost the entire first quarter of the book needs to be rewritten. The problem is that this is very obviously one of the author’s earliest attempts at writing a novel and as such the unrevised earlier parts show many beginners mistakes and just generally doesn’t flow very well at all, there are also several very bad character logic jumps that...more

I'm a recent author who published his debut YA urban fantasy novel. It is the first in a five-part series called the Sonora Series. I grew up in Portland, Oregon. I derived the entire story from a dream of a far off world linked to Earth. I've incorporated a lot of our own history, with a bit of an alien twist.
