This research report aims to review the effectiveness of the circles of support and accountability model that had been developed in the mid 1990s to address the challenge of managing the return of untreated sexual offenders who had completed the sentences. The results validate high rates of success with an 83% reduction in sexual recidivism, 73% reduction in violent recidivism and 72% reduction in all revidivism.

Robin James Wilson (born December 1943) is a professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Open University, a Stipendiary Lecturer at Pembroke College, Oxford[1] and, as of 2006, professor of geometry at Gresham College, London, where he has also been a visiting professor. On occasion, he guest teaches at Colorado College.
