This is, I suppose, a perfectly fine book for the types of readers who want “BOYS ONLY” materials, and who think that “BOYS ONLY” means “RAAAR MANLY” and “FULL OF SWEAT AND DIRT AND OTHER MASCULINE THINGS” and “DEFINITELY NOTHING HERE ABOUT HOW TO SURVIVE BULLYING OR SHIT LIKE THAT, BECAUSE YOU’RE A STRONG TOUGH BOY DAMMIT.” It comes complete with flashy pictures, and bold warning labels, and instructions on how to survive a T-Rex attack and what to do if your parachute fails to open and how to...more

I came across this and its corresponding book for girls in the non-fiction section. According to the covers, they should be mirror images of each other, right? Both girls and boys doing awesome things. Maybe some school survival stuff. Mostly non-school-related survival stuff. But the contents of the book were quite a different story.
