The 4 stories in Snowbound Hearts are easily read and for the most part, difficult to put down until the end. The main characters are delightful, down to earth, and seriously in need of a romantic encounter. Each was on the sweet but sensual side
Sophie’s Snow Day by Jillian Chantal was quite a surprise. I’m not a fan of the paranormal genre, but quickly found myself sucked into Sophie’s world. Although as a reader, you have to accept certain whims of how Sophie operates as a shifter, the author...more

This review is for Snowbanked by Jennifer Daiker.

Parker Middletown escaped her Midwest hometown of Holly Springs for the warmth of California but the move did not come without sacrifice in the name of Grant, the love of her life. Back in town five years later for her mom’s surprise party, Parker discovers immediately that her connection with (and attraction to) Grant is as strong as ever. But will the sunshine lure her back to California or is Grant’s love enough to keep her warm on cold snowy...more

Equal parts laughter and swoon, these stories are a fabulous romantic getaway.

The authors' stories play really well off one another, and they all have a knack for hot guys and witty dialogue. I found myself getting completely sucked into each story in such a delightful way.

SO MUCH FUN!!

I'd recommend this book to anyone who likes a good romantic comedy and some steamy goodness to go with them :D

Brimming with spirit and sass, Jennifer Daiker’s Snowbanked will warm the coldest of hearts and keep you feeling cozy, no matter the weather outside. I can't wait to read the rest!

Each story was great in it's own way.

January Anthology 2012

Sophie's Snow Day by Jillian Chantal

What a unique story! And might I say I was pleasantly surprised by the turn of events in this story. Mrs. Baker was definitely a kind woman by taking in her faithful feline Sophie. Such a life a cat lives. Along with a second stray found on the porch in the bitter cold, both Sophie and the black male Tobias turn the tables when the need arises to take care of their own Mrs. Baker in her time of need. A cozy winter tale to...more

Having sat down during a recent snowstorm with a hot cup of tea and my new Kindle, I downloaded a book recommended to me via a friend of a friend of a friend. I didn’t think I was one for short stories, but my mind has been changed thanks to this Anthology. All four were well written, each author bringing her own touch of magic to the pages, but “The White Lion” left me wanting more, and I mean that in a good way! I was upset when it ended. Can someone please ask Maggie Devine to re-write this s...more

This review is for Jennifer Daiker's story Snowbanked.

Snowbanked was a quick romp through the snow with Parker and Grant. Their chemistry was instantaneous as they meet again after years spent apart. It's a lighthearted, easy read about rekindling an old flame and figuring out what you really want in life. The author packed a ton of heart into this small package! My only complaint is that it wasn't long enough! I totally wanted more of these two together and would have happily read a full-lengt...more

Truthfully I have only read so far Winter Twilight by Shannon O'Brien. If the other 3 stories are as captivating as hers I will be keeping this 5 star rating. I was called away by my son in the middle of the story and was anxious to get back to Teagan and James. I could see them waiting on me to bring them to life again which I easily did when I returned. I was relieved they remained together and was left longing for my sleeping husband by the time the story climaxed and complete. This story roc...more

As a disclaimer, I won this anthology in a contest run by Still Moments Publishing. Second disclaimer, SMP has recently become my publisher - and I'm thrilled to be associated with the kind of talent displayed in Snowbound Hearts.

Quick reads, all four titles brought something different to the table and delivered just what short stories should, a desire for more.

Okay, I'm biased because I'm one of the authors in this book. But when I sat down to read the other three stories, I had so much fun! Each story is unique and spellbinding, sharing different flavors of sweet, sassy, and heartfelt romance.

Jennifer Daiker's Snowbanked is a witty, heart-warming tale that made me want to strap on my snow boots and cuddle up by the fire with a hot chocolate . . . and a hot man. Packed with snow, romance, laughter, and fabulous story-telling, Snowbanked has it all. Looking forward to reading the rest!

This was a great book for those quick reads. I found the stories very diverse (the first one, especially, was unlike anything I'd ever read and I was entranced by it).

I absolutely LOVED writing this story. There is something about snow that makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

Four lovely stories by four lovely ladies. Each is unique and as a whole they're a lot of fun.
