Michelle, the Bookshelf Stalker Queen of the Undead
There is…

… a tiny little demon fairy named “Honey”

… a beautiful tattooed “Guardian” shape shifter named “Aidan”

… very bad angels

… very good demons

There are...

… rifts

… portals

… darkened daylight

… Incubi

… warthog looking men,

… and a woman who could rival Queen Betsy at the beginning.

There is…

…soul sucking,

…life giving,

…dream walking,

…and witty dialogue in between.

There are scenes that reminded me of Groundhog Day, characters that were so unique, sexual tension that made me hold

This book was a fantastic find and I hope others read it and enjoy it as much as I did. I picked it up on Amazon as a freebie. Though it's no longer free, I think it's well worth the $4.99 price-tag.

Meet Sylvie. She is a high maintenance Southern Belle who works as a fashion merchandiser for a department store. Her toughest day to day decisions are deciding what to wear.

I am having a love-hate relationship with this book.

It is not a bad read but there are so much similarities with the Fever series to this one. It felt as though this is the summary of the 5 books crammed into one book with a slightly different theme.
I really hate reading about airheaded women. It is simply annoying and a hair-pulling experience for me.

Overall, the story is really ok. Just doesn't gives me the wow factor.
I think the few chapters of reading air-head Sylvie really put me off.

For me, the greatest strength of this book is the cast of characters. A collection of three-dimensional people who have real and satisfying relationships, and who are transformed through the story.

The protagonist starts out as bit of a spoiled twit, but don't give up on her. The reward is to watch her grow and develop into an altogether more formidable woman and a heroine worth cheering for.

A lot of clever dialogue, an involved plot with some great scenes and fun twists, plus some sexy bits tha

I read a sample of this book on a whim, thinking it was another vampire romance. Thankfully it had nothing to do with vampires, and it had an amazing plot, so I immediately bought it and divulged myself in it. It's one of the best books I've read this year. Sylvie starts out as a beautiful self-obsessed southern belle, but starts to learn that beauty isn't everything--and that, in fact, some of the most beautiful creatures are evil. It's an all-around wonderful storyline, cast, and plot. I ...more

Wow, I was blown away by this book. It's incredibly immersive and the author has created some interesting characters. It isn't at all what I expected, but in a good way!

Lia Black tends to do everything the hard way; beginning with being born backwards into the world and now raising a teenage daughter by herself in conservative Upstate NY. Her career choices are no less extreme, including occupations of fine artist, computer geek, firefighter, and mortician’s assistant— just to name a few.

A fellow Author describes Black's mind as "a glorious kaleidoscope of f*cke
