This is a pretty good read, about John Taylor's world travels around Christmastime in the 1630s and his return to England. It's partly fictionalized, I strongly suspect. Taylor is VERY funny, and cracks a lot of dirty jokes. This is a light read. If your only experience with 17th century English is Shakespeare, you will be pleasantly surprised to find this much easier to understand.
