Well, I do admit to being biased since it is my book. It was my first novel and yes I am sure there is some editing I could do in hindsight despite having gone over it and over many times before publishing it, but live and learn. I hope you all enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

The plot of a novel is like a tree. The trunk is the central idea, or perspective or topic, while the roots are the subplots, gathering nutrients from the soil/characters. It’s a rather bizarre metaphor, but the question always guides me: is the novel built like a tree?

I found this book to be absolutely brilliant, moving and inspirational. It took me on a journey and gave me a peek behind the curtain of the life of a successful musician. It was a tale of two journeys, one of living a dream, the other of losing your soul. With its unexpected twists and turns I found when I had to put the book down, I could not wait for my next opportunity to pick it back up.

This was a very good novel, but it took too long to read because I had to figure out punctuation in just about EVERY sentence. Commas are helpful. Pleases use them. If the author doesn't care to edit properly, I volunteer to help out. Just email me a copy of the novel and give me a week to fix it for you.
