Obviously written for the "Young Adult" reader. But it was an engaging story, and I was unable to put it down without finishing it. I'm going to recommend it to my 16 year old granddaughter.

I don't like DNFing book, but I really couldn't stand the main character in this book and I couldn't force myself to read any more of it.
Not only is this book labeled as being a part of a series (this being #2) but it makes absolutely no sense! It's like it's a completely new story and if it was to be a continuation there'd be so many inconsistencies.
For instance, her parents don't use magic and hide from covens in the first, totally the opposite in this one. Her and Asher are going out in book More...

Decent premise but Hadley is one of the most annoying and stuck up heroines I've come across...and I've read the Undead series so that's saying something.

I've never read about a main character being as obnoxious as this one. If I hang been reading this book on my kindle, I would have thrown it across the room.
Review to come.
