Hilarious, entertaining, and just the right length, Steven Lewis' rollicking tale of rickety tracks had me chuckling and chortling all the way to the end.
Hysterics aside, Steven captures his South Australian train experience in a manner that is convincing, relevant, and conscientious. I especially related to his fantasy/expectation as he boards the train, and then, rather swiftly, submits to reality as he realizes the incongruity of his preconceived notions to what actually is.

This e-book was a very, very quick read – more of a long short story really. There was a lot of truth in what Steven wrote – the Indian Pacific and its sister The Ghan are rife with the elderly. He went expecting nothing short of a black tie experience but unfortunately he and his wife felt very out of place as the youngest on the train and felt snubbed by their fellow passengers who knew all the tricks of the trade when it came to train travel.
