Asmodeus, the demon of all things carnal, has trained Angel in the art of seduction since she was a young woman. She was trained to please men in all ways. She developed a lover’s relationship- but only in her dreams, where they can not touch. Asmodeus trained Angel the best he could, but when she failed to be accepted as The Gift to Satan, she was tossed off the cliffs and left for dead.

I was asked to review this book by my girl Dawn of http://daydrmzzz.blogspot.com and of course I said yes I hadn't read Eden before but I'd met her at the Romantic Times Book Convention as she's a darling. I am thrilled to get my hands on books before they hit the shelves! I read Fallen Angel last night- in one sitting. This book is not one I would have picked up on my own... I mostly read paranormal romance and urban fantas...more

Declan takes a walk along the trails every morning to get ready for his day as a park ranger and one morning, a beautiful, naked woman falls from the sky to land at his feet. She is covered in strange symbols, with bones tied in her hair, and pentagrams tattooed on both palms. He immediately feels an irresistible connection to the naked woman and follows the ambulance to the hospital and stays with her for days until she regains consciousness.

The naked woman reveals that she doesn’t have a name...more

Declan Byrne was walking down the beach with his black mastiff Liam when a woman lands on the sand. She was naked, bloodied and covered in strange symbols. Declan feels an instant connection to the woman, a deep need to protect this stranger. To avenge her.

Declan stays by the woman’s side and spends days in the hospital waiting for her to wake up. There isn’t a woman listed as a missing person with her description. Declan decides to call the woman Angel. When Angel wakes up she feels instantly c...more

Didn't think I would ever finish this book, but am happy to say that I did, and happy to say that it's over...really unusual for me to not like an Eden Bradley book, but I didn't care for this at all.

The concept was "different"; a man walking on the beach alone and all of a sudden the woman of his dreams literally falls out of the sky. The author talks about instant connections not only for the hero, but the heroine also. The only problem is, even as often as its mentioned in the book, I didn't...more

Fallen Angel by Eden Bradley is a story unlike anything I have ever read before. Be warned, there is subject matter that may make you uncomfortable. But don’t let that keep you away from a wonderful book. Ms. Bradley’s writing style flows eloquently, telling a great story.

Fallen Angel is primarily about Angel’s journey in discovering the real world and her life with Declan, after she had been held in captivity for 16 years in a satanic cult....more

A sweet erotic tale of an angel, a demon, and a gorgeous wounded hero.

Declan is a wounded hero, not physically but it's as if he were. He's hurt in more ways than one. It all goes back to his mom's death, and a tragedy he blames himself for. As if that weren't enough, he's pissed off at his dad too, truth be told, he's pissed off at everyone that crosses his path, at life really. He's just not a happy guy... not until Angel stumbles upon him.

Angel is the sweetest girl anyone has ever met. Her B...more

Haunted by a military mission that ended in personal tragedy, Declan Byrne still bears a soldier's scars. As a park ranger on the secluded Mendocino coast, he guards his heart while standing ready for anything. Anything except a beautiful, ethereal woman with a mysterious past, falling from the cliffs to the rocks below.
Angel, as Declan decides to call her, has no memory of what happened. But as her body heals, disturbing dreams emerge. In Declan's protective care, Angel feels safe to act on the...more

My Review:

This book was incredibly different…very psychological and intense. I was never sure where the story was going, or as the reader, even where I wanted it to go. Both the main characters Declan and Angel are dealing with some heavy mental issues, which makes the book sometimes difficult to enjoy. The book definitely kept my attention, but I’m not sure how much of that was simply because of the bizarre circumstances….it was hard to look away…kind of like watching a car wreck.

Both Angel an...more

I feel like, for some simple reasons, I should not review or rate this book. But at the same time I have read it and despite the fact that I am biased, I think it's safe to say that I wouldn't have enjoyed it in any case. But wait, first .. I am biased because..

- I thought this would be PNR. It really isn't.
- the heroine was imo unrelatable and hardly likeable. She was more of a sit-com girlfriend. You know, the chick Barney dates this week. The girl you don't really care about anyway, but she's...more

This book had me confused. Starting off with the beautiful naked woman that seems to fall off the sky (or was it a cliff) at the feet of the hero who was taking a walk along the beach with his dog. Declan has an instant connection with her (and yes I made myself hope that the connection wasn't just the fact that he was checking out the bloody and battered womans breasts).

Declan gets her to the hospital and stays with her through operations and recovery t...more

*I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for a review*

This book was not what I thought it would be at all. I read the blurb and thought it was a PNR when really it is a very human contemporary novel. I am not complaining because generally speaking I enjoyed this.

Fallen Angel takes is about a very tough subject, one that I never really thought I would see in erotic romance. Bradley, however, treats this subject with respect and I never once thought this book was done in bad taste. In fac...more

I haven’t ever really read erotic fiction before, so am not really sure what they would normally read like. I found the sex scenes a bit too much in this story, they seemed to be at it every second, or thinking about it (or she was with Asmodeus, doing the dirty) and to me this was too much, none of it seemed realistic. I also found the swearing a little too much. I also had issues with how they instantly fell in love (or felt such a strong connection anyway) you would think that someone who had...more

Despite an intriguing, evocative first chapter, FALLEN ANGEL's mix of relentless sexuality and infantilized, cult victim creeped me out too much to continue. Angel's masturbatory interludes with Asmodeus were off putting, and even when her status as a victim began to become clear, anticipating any sort of sexual relationship between her and Declan was too disturbing for me to stomach. I was intrigued by the symbols and ceremony the precipitated her fall from the heavens, but not enough to want t...more

FALLEN ANGEL is simply breathtaking. From the very beginning, when Declan finds Angel broken on the beach, the tone of the book hovers between reality and paranormal reality. The psychology of the piece is extremely well done, and as Angel comes to terms with her past and reaches for her future, you find yourself rooting both for her and for Declan, who has a boatload of his own past to work through. A truly lovely and yes at times erotic story, made all the more wonderful by the truths that fin...more

This is a gripping story that had me flipping the pages as fast as I could read them. It's dark, gritty, intense and passionate. This is not a book that you will read and immediately know what's gonna happen or how it will end. Eden Bradley takes you on a twisted journey with these characters and leads you to places you never thought it'd go.

Declan Byrne is a broken man. He has been through some very trying times in his career and personal life with his father. He has isolated himself from every...more

This would have been a great mystery, if someone had cut half the crap out of it. The sex was just so misplaced and gratuitous it made the book worse.

Read this on my Nook because it was available instantly at the library ebook site. It was a quick read but a little too much sex for me.

Hmmm, a little raunchy for me but I guess I'm prepping for Fifty Shades of Grey. Thought I'd peek at it because it's so popular.

I can't believe I bothered to finish this book. It was truly terrible. Proof that people who don't write sci-fi/fantasy shouldn't try or at least it shouldn't be published. I frankly didn't care about the characters at all and the obstacle that happens in every romance novel was one fight and it was even that bad. The dialogue and writing was all stilted. Don't waste your time.
