A terrific reference work, which cheerfully (through exemption) does not supersede those chapbook-interviews (at Naropa, by Bowering and Hogg, by Faas) that many Duncan scholars have relied on for a generation; in all, thirty-eight interviews seem to have been granted by this very public-minded poet, and twenty-eight are here. One could have asked for only one more thing: an index! But other than that, here is enough table talk to last even the most robust acolyte's ear.
