Another one of Renee's books that held my attention, and kept me turning pages until the very end. I finished it in two days.

It starts out with a man named Leif Dæganssen, an archeologist from Norway, who is determined to trace back his Scandinavian roots as far as the Dark Ages and find proof of their existence on the Emerald Isle. After several years of living off the west coast of Ireland, he finally uncovers an ancient artifact—an intricately decorated chest with pagan carvings—buried beneat

“My journey’s end begins with you, Rain.”

Her best friend encouraged her to take on the adventure and live her dream of going to Ireland. The adventure was inevitable and complete with flashbacks from a time that felt familiar and yet foreign. Lorraine just didn’t believe she’d actually encounter the man who's haunted her dreams every night. That is until he showed up on a horse and rescued her. And so a whirlwind romance begins with the fall of rain and Lorraine is swept away by a man who make

Leif Dæganssen, an archeologist from Norway, is determined to trace his roots back to the Norse settling of Ireland. He's bought a cottage on the coast of Inis Mór, one of the Aran Islands off the Connemara coast, where he feels compelled to dig for artifacts. As the story opens, he discovers an ancient Viking chest buried beneath his front porch.

Lorraine O'Connor, born and bred in Kentucky, has for years had a recurring dream about being kissed by a Viking warrior, though she's never understood
4 stars This is not a stand alone. Read this series in order.

Modern day Ireland.

This is a story that in some way continues the story of Deagan and Mara. This is not a time travel but a past life story.

I am not a big fan of contemporary romance, usually due to the fact they always seem to be too over the top with slang and immature dialogue (for the most part). This book does neither.

The story revolves around archeologist Leif who lives on Ins Mor and Lorraine or "Rain" to her friends who lives

Finally we come full circle with The Fall of Rain. Present day, where we find Kentucky native Lorraine O'Connor coming out of a long relationship with a total jerk who didn't deserve her. All her life, Lorraine has had some pretty vivid dreams of ancient Ireland and a handsome Viking. She has an affinity for Ireland and her dream is to travel there. With her breakup, her best friend Patrick books her on the first flight to the Emerald Isle to live it up and fulfill her lifelong dreams. Reluctant

AUTHOR Renee Vincent made up for one very disappointing event that occurred in Book ONE. (3 shocking, you'd never guess it, events occur in this book)

Patrick, Lorraine’s best best friend has always been protective of her. When she breaks up with Jack, her loser boyfriend/ fiancé, Patrick packs her off from Kentucky to Inis Mór Ireland, a place that has always had a pull on her. There she meets Leif. Leif is the spitting image of the Viking that has haunted Lorraine's dreams since she was

I know for myself I enjoyed the first two books very much. So much so, that I was excited for the third book to come out. Little did I know what book three really had in store for me. OMG doesn’t even cover it. This is my absolute most favorite book of this series. Where the first two take place deep in the past, book three finds us in the present time. How does that work, you may be askin

Captivating and breathtaking!
I am overwhelmed with high emotions! I just finished reading the conclusion of Renee Vincent's last book "The Fall of Rain". Ms. Vincent is a high quality writer that touched me with her captivating Emerald Isle Trilogy! Again, I could feel the tenderness and the passion between her characters Leif and Lorraine. It was nice that she brought back Daegan and Mara, also Breandan and Sorcha from her previous books. I won't give you clues, because you really have to read

This book grabs hold and doesn't let go!! From the first page on you want Rain to be happy! You'll be saying OMG by the end if you have already read Volume 1 and 2 of the Trilogy!! and if you havent read them - WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? Renee has a way with words that makes you fee like youre in that world. This book was my escape and will definitely be back for more!!

Absolutely astounding! I recommend reading the whole Emerald Isle series, starting with RAELIKSEN, then MAC LIAM and finish up with THE FALL OF RAIN. I did not know how it would work to finish out a historical series with a contemporary novel, but it was a brilliant way to close it out. I LOVED IT! This series is now my all-time favorite!

This contemporary continues the epic love story Ms. Vincent began in Raeliksen and carried through MacLiam. I don't want to give anything away, but this is the perfect end to the Emerald Isle trilogy!

I really enjoyed this book (and more than made up for the ending of the first book, Raeliksen, which I wasn't too thrilled with - sorry Renee!).

Though it's still a good read, and provided interesting closure to the saga of the Emerald Isle series, it's my least favorite of the three. I still think its well worth the time to read.

At first was confused on it starting in present day, but then ....WOW. Best ending to the trilogy.

Although this is a stand alone really isn't. It's a four star story only because it gives closure to the first two books in the trilogy. Without reading the first two, it's not that good.
