I'VE READ ALL BUT ONE OF THE MURDER SERIES I'M SAVING THE MOST RECENT ONE (CAMPGROUND MURDERS) I ENJOYED ALL OF THEM ITS THE CHARACTERS I LOVE JIM & PENNY ALONG WITH THEIR CREW. WHAT ATTRACTED ME TO THE WITH THE FIRST ONE IS THEY WERE NOT YOUNG BUT NOT VERY OLD EITHER, MATURE ADULTS WITH MATURE PROBLEMS WHICH I COULD IDENTIFY WITH. THEY LET PEOPLE KNOW THERE IS LIFE AFTER 50+YRS OF LIVING. I STARTED WITH THE FIRST ONE AND I WAS HOOKED I READ ALL 26 OF THEM IN ABOUT 5 DAYS. I AM SAVING THE ...more

Although this is the twentieth book in the series, it's the first one I've read. The characters have obviously been established in previous stories. There were a lot of "inside" jokes between them. Much of the plot was predictable and occurred quickly.

A quick and easy mystery to read. Enjoyable. The main detective has a good sense of humor. I would read more from the author.
