An honest review of my own work ... Saboteur is a definite improvement in writing style from Sedition. Saboteur is the sequel to Sedition, but I think it stands on its own just fine. Personally, I enjoyed writing it. Spoiler Alert -- my favorite scene was the "viewing" sequence where Nelek and Trenna get to meet their future baby boy. I've always referred to that as my "magical ultrasound" and had great fun creating the sequence.

A J Maguire’s follow up to Sedition is an even stronger story. Tightly written, exceptional color and dialog that captured me from the start. Here new ideas in an old genre are refreshing and very imaginative - wait until you see the blood mages and the "viewing" - what an amazing concept. I am eagerly looking forward to the final book of the series.
