I love this book for the stickers. I'm not going to play with them because I'll be giving these books away to children, but I'm going to say this now. I love stickers, and little kids will love the stickers just as much, or more. This book is not only a fun Halloween book that children will enjoy, it also teaches them about compromising. You can't always get your way, especially when you want to work together with friends, so it's important to learn how to collaborate on a project. Just make sur...more

This is a nice Halloween story about friends that are excited about going trick or treating, but in the process find out they have to compromise to work things out concerning their costumes. Mia, a cat, wants to be a pink ballerina, while Anna, a hippo, wants to be a blue ballerina, and Ruby, a giraffe, prefers to be a green ballerina. Nicely illustrated and it includes a full page of stickers to decorate the friends!

I received a complimentary copy in exchange for my honest opinion.

My daughter absolutely adored this Mia: Time to Trick or Treat. The illustrations were gorgeous. We spent as much time admiring the pictures as we did enjoying the story. The story was a nice lesson on compromise and friendship, which is a message no child can every hear enough of. We've read this story multiple times now, and are still enjoying it. Bonus: There are stickers!

You can not go wrong with a Halloween book that's about ballerinas and comes complete with stickers. Little girls are going to love this book. This has become of my daughter's favorite Halloween reads. One of the things I like about this story, is it's not just a Halloween read, but it's one that comes with a lesson. It's about comprise. Young Mia wants all of her friends to dress up how she is, but she soon learns that it's important to comprise, and listen to your friends. The end result for M...more

I have been looking forward to autumn for a while and it finally feels real with a halloween read. This is a cute book full of friendship and working together for compromise. They little ballerinas are adorable as always and using this story going though the steps of planning and figuring out matching halloween costumes is fun and a good lesson. There is also a page to interact with stickers and design your own outfit at the end which is a one time event but looks fun.

Thanks to HarperCollins.
