Rachel is a woman on a mission: to land a man. So it sucks that on the same day she has a date with a handsome doctor, the apocalypse strikes. But Rachel's not giving up so easily. She fully intends to keep her date, and will brave the zombie hordes to make it.

This novella is highly amusing. I found myself laughing out loud several times. The main character survives the initial infection and is determined to be on time for her date. A well written story, easily finished in one sitting. Recommended if you like to laugh and don't mind a bit of harsh language (it is a zombie apocalypse after all).
I'm an Evelyn LaFont fan, but I wasn't as crazy about this book as her Vampire Relationship Guide or the Pack Mistress Series. The heroine was ridiculously self-absorbed to the point where it wasn't humorous any longer. An okay short read, but not one I'll pick up again or any futures ones (if more are planned) from this particular scenario.
