La obra más conocida del famosísimo Takehiko Inoue, narra la historia de Hanamichi Sakuragi, el típico quilombero de instituto japonés (clásico de los mangas de peleas de estudiantes) con el giro argumental de que quiere convertirse en jugador de básquetbol. okay... so im giving this whole series 5 stars, not for it's literary content (it is manga afterall!) but for the nostalgia it brings me and its humor.

It was so cool ~ Sakuragi is a guy who can pull tricks up his sleeves. And I'm seeing that he'll be on better terms with Rukawa , as long as there's no love triangle , but there is one already-- kind of.

This volume was ok, but most of the time I wish something more would happen. These past two volumes haven't been that interesting really.

Takehiko Inoue (井上雄彦) is a Japanese manga artist, best known for the basketball manga Slam Dunk, which has become a success both in Japan and overseas. Many of his works are about basketball, Inoue himself being a huge fan of the sport, and many Japanese children started to play basketball because they read the manga.
