An overview of what we know (or what we knew in 1998) about the creation of the universe, galaxies, stars, etc. Written in a style that contains the scientific jargon without the technical mathematics or background, this is an interesting read for an appropriate audience. People without a university level background in some science might find it too dense and full of jargon whereas someone with a good knowledge of physics might find it too simplistic.
