This was a quick, fun and hot read. Perfect vacation read of only 34 pages.

Summer Lovin’ is a short and sweet quick read filled with humor, sexy banter, and hot main characters. The chemistry between Mia and Luke is evident even before they officially meet--both ogling each other from their respective yards. “Luke shifted in his seat. Mia was sexy as all get out, but in that unselfconscious way that women never underst...more

4.5. Great short read. Only complaint? Wished it was longer! However, excerpt in back of book for upcoming historical LORD MIDNIGHT has me very excited for its release. Can't wait for longer contemporary, too!

I loved this cute, short read. The story starts off with Bootsy, a cute little Bichon puppy, whose sitter is asking him why the neighbor is washing his car all day long. Well, I have a Bichon Frise, so I was hooked immediately. The story is light-hearted, playful, and has romance, too.

Mia has been running her brother's business and decides to take a break from it and dog-sit for her friends Sondra and Jim while they go on their honeymoon. The dog-sitting isn't quite as easy as Mia anticipated, a...more

Summer Lovin' is a funny, down-to-earth story with sharp, witty characters that pulled me in right away. Ms. Cummings conjured up, Mia and Luke; two overworked people in need of some downtime. Mia is an office manager who decides to take a couple of weeks to chill out. She agrees to babysit her friends dog while they go on their honeymoon. Luke is a top-notch chef and restaurant owner who takes time off to rejuvenate too. Their paths cross when the sweet puppy, who is actually a shoe-chewing ter...more

I loved this short story by Donna Cummings. It was such a fun, adorable and witty read. I read it in one sitting.

The story is based on two hard working professionals taking a two-week vacation from their fast-paced lives. Mia is dog sitting at her friend's house, and the hunky neighbor, Luke, is taking a break from his restaurant...he also happens to be a great cook. Neither are looking for love, but love finds them anyway with the help of a cute little fluff-ball, aka Hellboy.

Mia is a secretary/office manager in her brother's company. Luke is a chef with his own restaurant. Both decide they need a change and take a vacation to figure out what to do next. Then with the help of a little fur ball, playfully referred to as "hellboy", they meet. Both Mia and Luke see the benefits of a vacation fling. Neither is prepared for the life changing events that happen.

This novella is the perfect pick me up for this time of year! Sexy, sweet, and original, you need to read this. D...more

I loved this novella. It is the perfect light summer read. The dog in this book affectionately called "Hellboy" is so adorable and his antics draw you in. This pooch is handful and he brings together Mia and Luke. Luke works too much and is taking some time off for two weeks. Mia is dog sitting for her best friend. The sparks fly with Mia and Luke meet. This story isn't full of drama, and that is fine. What starts out as a summer fling, turns into something much more. A wonderful summer love sto...more

Surprise! This book is about a summer fling! Mia is dog sitting for two weeks while her friends are on their honeymoon. She quickly discovers the hot guy next door. Luke is on a much needed from vacation at work, and just happens to be the neighbor to Mia's friend. With help from the mischievious dog they are soon having dinner together and becoming more than friends. They don't take their hands off each other the whole two weeks. Will their fling turn into more? Guess you have to read and see....more

Donna Cummings has truly promoted passion in this short ebook. Luke is a neighbor of Mia's best friend and needing to dog sit while her best friend to be rented out for honeymoon. When "hell- dog" lleads Mia to throw a softball, Luke's BMW receives a hit. To Luke's surprise, he and Mia soon discover a one time fling to be unreasonable. If you truly have emotions for someone then why not give it your all? Great for a two week vacation.

I just finished reading Summer Lovin' and I enjoyed this lighthearted romance. Mia and Luke meet during a vacation. He's a chef taking a much needed break and she is trying to decide what to do with herself while dog-sitting. The little dog, which they call Hellboy, is so cute! He loves shoes and brings the couple together. If you are looking to relax a few hours and escape, try this short romance.

Quick, sexy and fun read. The story centers around 2 young professionals named Mia and Luke and a dog named Bootsie aka Hellboy. Mia is babysitting her friend's dog while they are on a 2 week honeymoon. She happens to meet Luke, the "neighbor" Both are leery about having a fling but decide to give it a try. The relationship heats up.... Wish it was longer!

Summer Lovin' was a first look at new author Donna Cummings and I loved every minute of Mia and Luke's fling. Of course, the best flings grow beyone the lovers control and this pair had a force of nature conspiring against their initial plans. The story left me smiling. A great read.

I found this on my Nook for free and gave it a shot. It's a real short story. Not bad but not great. If you are looking for a short, cute story then give this a shot. It would make a great quick beach read.

Loved this funny, romantic short story. The humor had just the right touch, and the romance made me want to want more.

Looking forward to the author's new release, I Do ... or Die.

Cute - easy read - Things happened fast and the story would have been better with a bit more depth and longer. Free download, I did enjoy it as it was just a feel good book.
Karen
This is exactly the kind of story I needed when I had a bad day. It was a fun, fast read. It didn’t need to be any longer and it confirmed my decision not to get a puppy.
Virginia Meza
Lovely short story. Even though it was a short read it was worth reading it. It's hot, funny and cute.

The only thing cute about this short story was the dog.
The story was boring.

I have worked as an attorney, winery tasting room manager, and retail business owner, but nothing beats the thrill of writing humorously-ever-after romances.

I reside in New England, although I fantasize about spending the rest of my days in a tropical locale, wearing flip flops year-round, or in Regency London, scandalizing the ton.

I can usually be found on Twitter talking about writing and coffee...more
