I didn't enjoy this novella as much as the full length books in this series. It jumped around in a disjointed manner and people and problems just suddenly appeared from out of nowhere without explanation. If I hadn't read the preceding books, it would have been even more difficult to follow. The author cut the length by sacrificing development, cohesion, and transition. It still was an exciting tale if the reader never paused to think about anything.

This was a very unique short story. I connected with the main female character right away, and I enjoyed it immensely. The one thing I really didn't like was the jumping around. It made the story feel disjointed, but at the same time, connected. The abilities of the heroine are unique and special to her; it's not as smutty a romance as I was expecting, judging by the cover. It's a unique read about defying and living the future you want to live, of sacrifice and tossing off the fetters of a life ...more

This was short but I liked it.. set in the late 1800's
she can see the future but not her own... she was born with this gift
The story starts with Adelaide being caught in the middle of a fight on an island off Indian coast... how did she get there?
suddenly she is back in France ready to sell a statue
but it is stolen

she is an only child but finds out her father had other children...
she thinks she is alone
but then the thief finds out that she was the target not the statue...

Great way to pass the t

It was an entertaining read. I liked the characters and the story line. This is the first I've read in this series and I'm going to keep an eye out for the rest. This had emotions, hold-your-breath scenes, some fun, steaminess, and a great HEA that left a smile on my face. I would definitely like to read the rest of this series. I liked the 'gifts' too. The getaways and the ending stick out most in my mind and they bring a smile, so this was definitely a good book, even if it was short. Enjoy!

James is a treasure hunter after a statue. When it finally seems he is about to have it in his possession he runs into Adelaide who is also after the statue. The statue has a link to her family. She knows much more about it than he does. James and Adelaide fall for each other but are separated by their obligations.

A story that reminded me of the Mummy movies with the treasure hunting, but also had paranormal pyschic talents without the walking toilet paper characters. Even though I read the third one first, itwas still really good and could also be a stand alone.

I did enjoy this book but it did feel like more of novella. Also I felt it was lacking so meat to the story. I kept thinking there was more to come when the book ended.

The storyline was okay, but for some reason the characters didn't sizzle. Can't really put my finger on it.

Wild Passion is a very short book with a decent story. The author could have made the storyline into a full sized book but somehow I do not believe that i would have enjoyed it as much if it was.

A fun little free read.
A little rushed in places.
Passed the time.
I have read better by Lori.
Will I read the rest of the series, I doubt it, unless they come along as a free read.

Nice addition to the series. I liked learning Adelaide's story since there was only a small peek in book 2. I wouldn't suggest it as a stand alone, all of the back story is in books 1 and 2.

As a child, thoughts of far-off places and adventure consistently kept Lori up late at night. After graduating high school, she came to the conclusion that there was no better way to seek adventure and nourish her love of history than to become an archaeologist. She went on to receive a degree in anthropology, but digging in the dirt during humid Midwestern summers wasn’t exactly as fun as she tho ...more
