Grant is a seriously trouble young man in desperate need of psychiatric help. His father issues and the jealousy he has for sister Lexie spills over into dangerous territory. I'm a boy and I was disturbed by Grant's cookoo behavior. It was like watching a train wreck. After his incident with Yasmine he has a severe case of remorse but the damage is done. This series is taking a plunge into some pretty shady territory but was done in a way that took me by surprise because there's enough funny tee...more

I didn't think Grant could get any worse. HE GOT WORSE!!!!! I can't believe this kid. I liked him in freshman year, he was a jerk in sophomore year but he's a class A a**hole in junior year.
I'm not going to give away the good part but the meat of junior year is he meets this girl Yasmine and they have an "encounter", he panics and freaks the hell out and does something so awful, I mean horrible, terrible awful that it takes the whole book for him to recover. Just when I thought he learned his...more

There might be a spoiler in a minute. I received this book in the mail today when I got home. I read it tonight- not because it was too short, but because there was SO much going on I couldn't stop reading! I agree with someone else's comment of "I liked Grant in his Freshman year..." because I did- mostly. I don't completely dislike him now, although I don't like him. I also agree with a comment his biological father makes - he's messed up. This kid needs help and he needs help soon. He's a tic...more

I love writing, but doesn't every writer say that? So,at the risk of sounding like a cliche, let me be specific. I love writing stories that are inspired by real people and real experiences. After a reader is done reading one of my novels I want them to say, "that happened to me too," or "I know someone who went through the same thing."
