It's not not so bad getting yourself blown up eight times a day for the slack-jawed tourists, at least to Jack Whiskey's thinking. I received this book in the Goodreads book giveaway.

I really liked this book. I think the reason I liked it so much was because it was so different from what I usually read plus it's pretty funny. It took me a while to finish it, but once I got through about 1/4 of it, I really got into it and was able to finish it in a few days.

Shelves: fantasy
While this book did have a few redeeming qualities, due to a lack of editorial contribution I would not recommend.

My Rating System:
* couldn't finish, ** wouldn't recommend, *** would recommend, **** would read again, ***** have read again.

A very fun read. It is all about fantasy and down right humor in abundance. The characters are varied and from all types of myths. I truly enjoyed this little romp thru mythology and found it to be thoroughly entertaining.

Dan H. Kind is lifelong lover of stories and the written word. A writer of irreverent comic fantasy (and sometimes horror), he lives in Virginia with his lovely wife, beautiful two-year-old daughter, a beagle, a toothless old dachshund, and a crazy half-Siamese furball.

When not making up wild tales or burying his face in a book, you'll find him hanging around the local airport. He appreciates well
