Captivating & Hot!
Wow, not only was this story captivating, it had extremely HOT erotic scenes. The world building in the Shadow World was very interesting leaving me wanting to know more of this mysterious world. Actually there were a couple of things in this world that was very intriguing to me. Below are the examples:

I did enjoy this story. I liked that there were vampires, dhampyres, weres, and zombis (which are different from zombies and have a unique background) but I would have loved it to be longer so that the author could have delved more into the characters stories. With Lucius and Trevina, there is somewhat of a conclusion to their story by the end, but I felt like I was left hanging with regard to Wolfram and Jessilynn. Despite that, I liked the story and would certainly be interested in...more

Black Lust is a strong paranormal tale, and not what you would expect from one! It was much more than I hope it would be.
The characters are very well build. I enjoyed Wolfram’s part of the story too, but I wanted to see more scenes between Lucius and Trevina. The world building is enough to support the novella, and I would have loved to have read this title would be a full length novel, it certainly has all the right elements – even to a series! I want more!

A quick reading book - a little over a hundred pages. Short and kinky, I will definitely be reading another of this authors books. My only minuses are the length, I much prefer a full sized story and what happened with Desiree. He enjoyed Desiree far too much and it was much too close to what happened in the beauty shop. I would have given it 4 stars if I didnt keep thinking good grief he probably still smells like another woman's lady parts.
This was an ok book, very short so didn't take long to read at all. I think it would have been better if it went into more depth and could have been longer. I will still read the next book in the series.
An intriguing paranormal romance story filled with emotional angst and well-developed characters. Fans of dark romance will enjoy this book.
A great start to the Blackthorne clan paranormal series. this book focuses on Lucius, a quarter-vampire (what a cool idea) he gets swept into a drama concerning weres, wolf-shifters and a zombie. There is a real family/clan feeling between all these characters. Lucius also experiences the mate bond with a local hairdresser. Really enjoyed this!
