This book is a collection of photos showing how ordinary Polish Jews lived their lives in Poland during the 1920's. Since many of us have ancestry from this area and time period, it was quite interesting to look at these snatches of ordinary life.

This is an incredible volume of photographs with a short 18 page introduction that tells the astonishing story about the photographer artist of this album who perished in 1941 in Tarnopol and who might have survived a German massacre like the eye-witness of his death did survive but he was finished off beaten to death a couple of marauders in the cemetery where the Germans took him to be killed along with many other Jews.
