Despite the 'culture' in the subtitle, the book doesn't go into much detail. It provides a very detailed history of cigarette companies and manufacturing in Indonesia. Heavy on photos and illustrations, so it's easy to flick through the book (and probably indicative that it wasn't meant for a detailed reading). That said, mine was an academic interest and this book is probably meant for people with a general interest... or a serious kretek habit. This probably explains why the book ignores cance...more
