Oh my god. Oh my god. OH MY FREAKING GOD!!!!
POW had left me speechless and after Blood Rites I just can't catch my breath! My hands were glued to my kindle even when I didn't read. The whole Jacque & Fane drama aside, Jen and Decebel were just hilarious! I sooo recommend The Grey Wolves series to everyone!
Blood Rites continues right where POW left off, when Jacquelyn and Fane are getting ready for their bonding ceremony. We get to know lots of new characters and a flickering flames of a new More...

I'm going to start off by saying WOW! I wrote a review for POW and I thought that book was amazing! But this book is hard to write one for. There's not enough words to describe how much I love this book! Quinn throws you into an amazing world filled with laughter, heartbreak, and lots of love. I don't want to give give away any spoilers but you MUST read this book! I don't feel any review will give this book justice! I feel like a stalker watching her websites for more updates on the third book More...

I was so pleased when looking through my friends updates, to find Blood Rites available! Needless to say, ... I promptly purchased it and glued myself to my nook! ;)

Blood Rites picks right up where Prince of Wolves leaves off. Just when you think that Jaque and Fane get though the worst of it, and are on their way to total bliss, ... in steps a new fur-ball. *snicker*

I promised to be honest, and so I am going to mention a few things I saw to be a bit unrealistic, in the second installment.

1. More...

If you read Prince of Wolves, you know you've been chomping at the bits to get some more of Fane and Jacque and Blood Rites does not disappoint! Things were left untied between Fane and Jacque in Prince of Wolves, but you get the much needed conclusion in Blood Rites. It is sensual, which we adults all know we wanted, but remains appropriate for the teen reader.

New conflicts are introduced with different characters, so we are left with the need to know what's going to happen. I'm just as excite More...

Read this review on my blog! --> Blood Rites by Quinn Loftis

This book picks up right after Prince of Wolves and it’s interesting how dangerous this world is and how far some people would go for a soul-mate, even forgetting a very important lesson.

So once again a crazy werewolf wants Jacque for himself and decided to stop her Blood Rites with Fane, but the most important part is that her father is in town and his wolf is doing a lot of danger around. After making her mother car suffer an accid More...

Quinn Loftis, you gifted, comedic, twisted story-teller you, I am once again thoroughly impressed!! I picked up Blood Rites after devouring every page of Prince of Wolves (which is still making my heart race). That marked day two of my eyes being plastered to my iPad due to lack of willpower to tear myself away from this awesome series!

Blood Rites picks up right where PoW left off, with Jacque and Fane enjoying the excitement of their impending bonding ceremony. But little do they know, there is More...

Even after a second reading of this book I am still in love. Quinn Loftis has outdone herself with this book. The romance, tragedy, and chase provided in this book would make just about anyone swoon.

Jacque and Fane have overcome the challenge and are getting ready for the blood rites the next evening until tragedy strikes and they are torn apart. Jen is falling hard for Decebel knowing she could never have a happily ever after with him because she do More...

Hands down, Sally and Jen were the best characters in this book! While the author over did the dialogue in some chapters with these two, where they should not have been the focus, they literally had me laughing out loud when reading this book. I really enjoyed reading about Fane and Jacque though and I really hope they have more of a presence in the next books then the blurbs seem to indicate that they do. I hadn't planned to read past this book in the series, but I really grew to love Jen so I More...

Jacque, Jen and Sally just think the hard stuff is over...When it has only just begun. Dillon Jacques's dad has found out about her and decides he needs to meet her...His beta Logan had plans for Jacque too unknown to all....What happens next is a chain of events that will change everything and ensure others..All along we (the reader) are subjected to the banter and ever growing tension between Jen and Decebel Vasile's beta....

As things escalate with Logan's plan and things look most dire and un More...

Gosh... I'm in love. I'm sorry Jacob Black but you have absolutely nothing in Fane Lupei. I'm in love. The rating in my head kept going up, down, down, up nd then back up. I couldn't really handle all the sarcasm from the girls, but the blood rites, Jen's sacrifice to save Jacque's life, nd Logan's death by Fane were all good enough to make me rate this a solid 5:)

Not to bad, I love the jen Charachter and in all honesty she is the reason I could read the second book. The rest of the story was maybe a 3 but she added a point and a half, making it not only bareable but fun!

I am really liking this series. It's the banter between Jacque and her friends. I have to admit I feel more invested in Jen and Decebel than Fane and Jacque. They seem more realistic, even though one is supernatural. Looking forward to the next book about those two.

Excellent second book to the series. A continuation of the story between Jacque and Fane, but also things are developing between Decebel and Jen - always keeping things interesting.
I can't wait for the third one to see what happens between Jen and Decebel.

Quinn Loftis offers laugh out load funny novels that will grab readers with the witty humor and intense romance. I have been anxiously awaited this novel, and it was far exceeded my expectations. Jacque and Fane mesmerized readers with this heart stopping romance in Prince of Wolves. Book two Blood Rites starts up right when the first book ended, and will have readers jumping and running through this fast awesome read. The addition of another palpable romance adds to the complexity of this lovab More...

Honestly, I love this series. However, there were some major plot holes and I really wasn't happy with the fact that we spent yet another book building up to the bloodrites of Fane and Jacque. (Also, how are y'all saying Jacque's name because I kept thinking of the French pronunciation of a guy's name. Okay, so the plot holes. The one that bothered me the most had to be how Jacque suddenly has wolves chasing after her all the time. This part unfortunately reminds me of Twilight. Both characters More...

This installment takes up right where the first book left us: Jacque and Fane are going to be doing the blood rites in Texas and they are getting ready. Jacque’s father (an alpha in the Denver pack) has recently become aware of her existence and has ordered his beta to keep an eye on her. Logan (the beta) has decided he has a liking for Jacque as well now (yes, we have heard that song before). I felt like it was somewhat believable in the first book. There aren’t a lot of females and Jacque was More...

This is the sequel to Prince of Wolves #1, Prince of Wolves. Blood Rites saved me from a deep rooted sadness after Prince of Wolves ended, and I wasn't ever more happy than when I discovered it was a series.

On her way to bond with Fane, Jacque and her mother and two best friends (Sally and Jen) are in a horrible wreck as the direct result of Beta from Colorado. You discover that this Beta, Logan, wants to mate with Jacque and is in the same pack as Jacque's father, the Alpha.

In the wreck, the c More...

So after reading Prince Of Wolves, I quickly bought book #2 in THE GREY WOLVES series, Blood Rites. Holy cow, it was just as good as book #1. This series has the "hook, line, and sink" effect.

It definitely gets the full five stars (it did have a few grammatical errors, misspellings, etc. sprinkled throughout), but those were easily ignored.

THE GREY WOLVES series is totally engrossing. I. Cannot. Pull. My. Eyes. Away. It definitely has a magnetic pull. This is a great story. I've already starte More...

this, and the first book in the series, seems to be running parallel to "fifty shades of grey", in that everyone is raving about it, but i really didn't like it. there was nothing original in this book. one example: the fact that unmated wolves give in to the "darkness" and go mad without finding their other half, their mates. hello, christine feehan fans - does this sound at all familiar to you??

worse, it was just as poorly written as the fifty shades series. i spotted quite a few errors (both More...

I thought the Prince of Wolves was great but Blood Rites is even better. My daughter got me started on Quinn's books with the Prince of Wolves because I had to be in bed for a while and I am so glad that she did because it really took me "outta my bed and into the world of Blood Rites". As much as the first one was intoxicating, Blood Rites really was full of excitement, anticiapation, and then I found myself cheering for certain character's. Then just when I thought the book couldn't possibly b More...

This isn't one of my favorites, I don't know why since I'm normally a werewolves #1 fan.

The writing style doesn't get me all wrapped up I'm the story- not that it isn't good, but it's not my style personally.

Other than that I think this was better than the first one a little more action and excitement in the story. I loved Jen and Decebel's relationship! It had me laughing my ass off!

So much happened in this sequel it was intense. In the car crash scene my heart was hammeringso hard against m More...

Finally! Jacquelyn and Fane have become bonded to each other. I was soooo tempted to go to the end of the book and find out if they were mated, but by mustering up the will power, I managed to be honest with myself and read the book cover to cover. This was equally as good as the first book Prince of Wolves. In this book we are introduced to Decebell and I'm just going to say that when you combine an aloof and commanding wolf, with a sarcastic nympho Jen, you know you're bound to get a hurricane More...

Quinn Loftis is a fuckin genius! How does someone come up with this stuff I mean you serious ? I couldn't come up with half the stuff in this book. And you know the part that gets me the most is
Wait for it.............

Jacque ran blindly, her arms thrown out in front of her, desperately trying to keep herself from running face first into a tree. She felt horrible for leaving Cynthia but the thought of Logan getting his hands on her was just too much

Just when you think it's safe to bind with your mate, in walks yet another psycho flea bag. I will admit to being peeved about this despite my professing it's part of the genre and to get over it. Thankfully, Quinn wrote with such fervor during the rising action it was all I could do not to scream, and my initial frustrations melted away. Sure, there is still the unbelievable factor....how the hell does one convince their parents to let them move to Romania? How do you wake up from a coma and kn More...
