This is a short novella, so don't pick this up expecting a lengthy story. That being said, this is a well-developed, well written tale.
The world building and characterization are the strengths of the story. You quickly get a good idea who everyone is and the rules of the world they inhabit. It's hard to give a really detailed review without spoiling it.
