3.8 Stars - Nice and pleasant PNR hero series - a lovely and promising start

A eight hours m/f PNR audio. I got the ebook for free more than a year ago. It was time to listening to the added audio I now also got.

Why has this book remained unread in my reader for over a year? It's really good, and in a genre (PNR) I always like. And no friends have read it either... Strange and quite unusual... ~ Or is it this great male narrator Kevin Scollin that raises this so much? Is it t

On the planet of SR44, twelve murders called the colonists escaped to Earth. On the said planet, the military hand picked six combatants called six Saviors to track them. The six that were chosen each had their unique abilities that they bring to the group. The six Saviors are Noah, Hudson, Talin, Cohen, Rayner and Jovan. This is Noah’s story.

The first thing I should say about this book is that it has a mix genre feel to it. Al

Newspaper journalist Abby needs a story, a really good one that will keep her gamefully employed. Unfortunately, her cop connections are remaining tight-lipped about the recent string of serial murders, so she turns her attention on Noah Johnson, the criminal profiler working the cases, with the intention of making him the focus of her story. Sparks and instant sizzle ignite between her and Noah, but little does she know just how big of a story he could r

OK, first let's talk about this cover. Yum-me. I could take a slice of that cake.

Second, let's talk about my love-fest. Yes. Love. Fest. There is *so* much to love about this book. The voice is magnificent. This author gets you to that level of emotion that is so missing from many books. From the first page, you are right inside Noah's head. And I mean right inside. The writing is so natural, you really think it's him talking to you, telling a story.

Abby is also a great character. So well drawn

The Six Savior's Series Book 1
Noah is from out of this world. Literally. He is from the planet SR44. Sent here, to earth, with five of his warrior brothers to recapture twelve escapees from the Colony. Twelve men who are evil to the core. What was to be a quick mission has turned into over two hundred years. Noah is existing not living, that is until he meets Abby.

Abby has never felt that she fit in anywhere or with anyone. When she meets Noah to ask him about the

The Run Down: Abby is a crime reporter for a Reno newspaper. After her mother was killed when she was only ten, she struggled to find her own identity as a person. Her life is mundane and boring, and although she craves more, she cannot quite put her finger on why she feels so different from other people. She can't quite figure out what to do to shake up the monotony that is her life.

Noah, one of six warriors from the SR44 alien race, has come to earth in a human body on a mission. Several crimi
Gahhh - error when saving my review so I'm attempting it again:

I like that the author included a background on Noah and the other Saviors: their planet, Noah's life before, etc. I also love the idea of the colors.

Noah, and the other Saviors, are your typical (and predictable) gorgeous bad-ass guys. They each have a special talent (though Noah's is being a warrior), which are needed throughout the book. Plus it makes sense as to why they were included in the mission to begin with.

Abby is a decent

Noah is an alien warrior from the planet of SR44 and along with 5 other warriors, they have been sent to Earth to hunt and kill the Colonist that escaped SR44 to reek havoc on Earth. After over 200 years on Earth and only capturing half of the Colonists, Noah is growing frustrated and bored. Abbey never felt "normal" like she didn't belong, she is also a reporter trying to hold onto a job she hates. Abby and N

What I liked: This author weaves a good story, and does so with skill. Noah, who is 522 years old, comes to Earth to capture the criminal colonists who had escaped from their planet that they had been placed on. Once there, he meets Abby. She strikes something in him, even though he is not quite familiar with relationships with Earth women. He fights it, of course, but they are just too good together. As the story progresses, they both learn important things about themselves, and about what they ...more

I downloaded this ebook for free from an Amazon promotion. I believe the author has an excellent and intriguing Sci-Fi opportunity but lost sight of it developing a romance novel. The group of 6 alien badass "saviors" were hardly "badass" at all, particularly Noah, their uber tough leader. Also, Why would an alien call their home world SR44, a sterile astrological chart designation? Do we not call our home world Earth, a familiar name? Why would they not do the same?

This is a story that has some sci-fi, some action, and some romance. Fall did a great job of pulling everything together and making it work. I truly loved the Saviors! They were big and sexy as well as loyal and fierce. You instantly feel a connection with them and want to know what happens. I felt as if the storyline could have been more geared to the adult aspect but that did not hurt the story any. It does not leave you hanging at the end although it is the first book in a series. Free download. This book is about aliens, some good and some bad. It starts with Noah, the lead Saviour who provides us with background on his kind and history of why the 6 Saviours are living on Earth. You then meet Abby, she's an independent woman who has suffered through loss, and has always felt out of place. Unable to connect with anybody and feeling like she doesn't belong. Abby works as a murder reporter and comes across Noah during a story she needs to write trying to save her job. Noah ...more

Abby has never felt like she fit in anywhere. Her mother was killed when she was just a child, and now Abby works the crime beat at a local paper to feed her interest in unsolved murders. She's never really connected with anyone, until she catches a glimpse of Noah in a crime scene photo. She's so drawn to him that she tracks him down and asks him for an interview, setting in motion a chain of events that will change her life forever.

This is the first book in the six saviour's series. It is centred on a group of six warriors who have left their home world of SR44 to eliminate criminals who have escaped from the prison colony where they were kept.

Noah is the appointed leader of this band of warriors who has taken on the role of a special detective who is called when a distubring scene is found, this allows him to see if any of them are the work of one of the otherworld colonist's in a human body.

My Thoughts

The Light Within Me is the first novel in Carly Fall’s Paranormal Romance series, Six Saviours. Fall has created a very intriguing story of otherworlders living here on Earth. She delivers a well-structured novel that excites with action and conflict, and captivates with steamy romance. The main characters in this story are true-to-life and there’s an array of supporting characters that suggests lots of promise for future novels.

Again a series I discover when it’s finished or nearly … I missed the 6 first books and now that I’ve read book1 I do regret not having read it before.

Carly Fall created an interesting universe and I enjoyed a lot her vivid descriptions of SR44 where the inhabitants are made of colourful smoke, she took the time to describe their environment but also their culture and ways of life and the history. For this story I think it was

although i don't usually read this type of book i was grabbed and pulled into the story from the first page. i found myself intrigued and fasinated by the "historical facts" in the story and the characters were a joy to get to know and watch them grow into their own. i also found myself rooting for the hero and heroine and booing the villian and then on the next page laughing out loud at something else. it was a truley wonderful book.

this is also not one of those books that you can figure out w
First off I would like to say that I enjoyed this book. It was a good start to a series. With that said I thought that the author skipped some things that I would have liked to know about (I think you will know what I am talking about if you read this story), but it didn’t detract from the story too much for me. I liked that I didn’t feel like I was being force feed facts about the planet the guys come from, as I find this kind of annoying when I am starting a new series, so that was good. Her s ...more
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and plan to read the rest of the series. The world that the author created was interesting and well-imagined and the characters seemed genuine. The book also has plenty of suspense and danger with lots of humor sprinkled throughout. And the romance is there in spades as well.

The plot centers around six aliens (warriors) sent to Earth to eradicate the threat some of the escaped criminals from their home planet are wreaking on Earth. Unfortunately for them, this ende
This book is trying to be the start of a BDB series, but it fails. The writing cannot hold up to the ideas the author has. The concept has potential -- evil aliens come to earth and become serial killers, good aliens follow to clean up the mess and meet their true loves -- but the writing lacks the skill, polish, and verisimilitude to carry the tale.

I was unable to read beyond 20 percent, and will not bother finishing, reading the rest of this series, or reading anything further from this autho

I'm not entirely sure why I finished this book. There were many things in this book that usually annoy me to the point of not being able to continue reading, I almost set this book down several times, but I did finish so here goes.
Firstly, there were many parts in this read when I felt as though I was reading something written by a college student...some good plotline going on but just basic character development and ALOT of grammatical errors. Some were so bad that I had to reread earlier parts
The Light Within Me by Carly Fall is a paranormal romance story, the first of six novels about The Six Saviours.

Noah is a man with a mission, one that has quite literally taken over his life, for years. Leaving his home, his family and everything he's known, to travel far away with five of his warrior brethren, to recapture 12 of the most dangerous men on Earth.

Abby has never felt like she fitted in, anywhere. She has a job, an apartment and a cat, and she's desperately lonely. Her mother died w

WOW! If you are looking for a sexy, interesting, full of suspense kind of book… this is defiantly the one for you. It was amazing on many levels; it had my attention from the first page to the last. The storyline was different, not your everyday romance book, but certainly one of the most interesting romantic stories I have read in awhile. The romance was sweet, super sexy and undeniably HOT!

5 out of 5 stars
This book was extremely good! I want to read all of Carly Fall's work now.

The complexities between Abby, Noah, Hudson and the other five warrior battling the colonist were wonderful! Not to mention this was a love story too. Paranormal, romance and intrigue all wrapped up in one book. I normally would take 3-4 days to read a book, but I just couldn't put this one down. I read it in less than a day.

I haven't read many alien type books, the first few pages of this really drew me in. I liked the premise and it was a different kind of read for me and I liked the characters, but I almost felt like I didn't get to know them well enough, especially the other warriors, we only get a glimpse of them and small interactions, so more of that would be nice.

Pros: I thought the six saviors were great, the background on their planet and history was interesting, and it was a very unique story. I especially loved that the warriors lived in a tricked-out silo. If this book had been more polished, I would have rated it much higher.

Cons: The heroine had a few moments when she was so naive when it came to her safety that she was outright reckless. Here her own mother had been murdered, but she didn't think anything of coming home to find her apartment d

It is refreshing to read a paranormal novel that is not about vampire or werewolf. The SR44 race is unique and the book title ties into the story plot quiet well.

It begins at a slow pace, but after you get to the middle it gets very nice!
I guess the others on the series will be better because we will not have to read all that 'getting to know the characters, their universe, and stuff' intro again, so we'll get to the point faster!

The series is about these warriors who left their planet to haunt some prisoners that fled to Earth. This first book is about Noah, when he meets Abby it seems like he finally found home again, since he could never go back to hi
Great book! I didn't want to put it down! I liked it so much I have already purchased Finding the Faith and Reborn! I cann't wait to read more by Carly Fall:)

the story line was different- I will give the author that, but over 500 pages was way too long. within the first 200 pages the author repeated several paragraphs and retold the same line over and over again. Yes we get it absolute pleasure= human from now on. This phrase was in too many paragraphs. o g with several others. I am not sure if there was an editor but if there was, many grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors. The story was in good detail-again 500 pages, and we did have
