This Fairy Tail manga, the 16th volume in the series, was just as entertaining as all the other Fairy Tail manga I've read. It's the aftermath of the Battle of Fairy Tail and all of Fairy Tail celebrates Fantasia. Lucy's father makes an appearance, which gets Lucy, Natsu, Happy, Erza, and Gray on their next job. Unknown to them, they are combined with three other guilds -Blue Pegasus, Lamia Scale, and Cait Shelter- to fight against one of the most ruthless dark guilds, Oracion Seis. New characte ...more

This volume deals with the aftermath of Laxus’s rebellion and presents us with the fantasia celebration. No sooner than that is done, it starts laying the ground work for the next big arc. Before it gets to that, life at Fairy Tail gets back to normal, with Lucy needing to make her rent. However, just as she’s about to go on a big mission with her friends, her father arrives, destitute. As he had given her a rather unhappy childhood and recently tried to force her home into a marriage, Lucy isn’ ...more

Parádé. Bőgicsetájm. A végére csak megsajnáltam azt a viszálykeltő villámsárkányt… aztán még inkább a faterja miatt. A jó hír, hogy a vassárkány nem áruló! ^_^ Juppyyy!

Az összefogás pedig röhejes… komolyan?! Perverzek, kretének meg a kislány. Csodás.
The first part of this volume is finishing up the aftermath of the last arc, and if there was any doubt before that Fairy Tail is an awesome guild to be part of, the end of that arc dispels them. They're a pretty fun and forgiving group, and the deal with Laxus is kind of cool.

Then we get into the next arc - we've been hearing about dark guilds, and it was nice to finally get to see how they work in the grand scheme of things. It was also pretty cool - if a bit disturbing - to meet the members o

We start off the volume with Chapter 127: Tearful Judgement.
The guild is healing after their internal struggle with Laxus and the Raijin trio. Now onto the city holiday, Fantasia, which celebrates with a festival.
Master Markarov excommunicates Laxus from the guild disinheriting him from the place of Future Master. (My question is answered in later volumes, but I wondered who the master would choose as the next in line?)
Come and read this well done send off, and read of regrets on both ends that

I like him more and more with each passing volume. Really like the part where the various members of four guilds have to team up and work together, even though heaven knows there are enough members of the Fairy Tail guild than I can remember.
