Natalie and Reed are happy together. They are back from their honeymoon and easing back into everyday life. In the mist of all this, Natalie is pregnant, but soon after, suffers a miscarriage. With the miscarriage comes tension and mistrust with Natalie and Reed's relationship.

It was nice reconnecting with all the characters again from Guilty As Charged (The Bradford Sisters Trilogy #1) book1. 'Shattered Dreams

Natalie feels guilty for experiences doubts that a lot of first time mothers face. After she loses the baby she throws herself into her work. She is trying to cope the best way she knows how. Reed is busy trying to secure a new contract as his way of dealing with the loss. He starts seeing things that are just so unbelievable he doesn’t know whether or not to believe it. Natalie and Reed had it all--newlyweds, head over heels in love, and both successful in their careers. Then, an unexpected pregnancy threw a wrench in their lives. Miscarriages are hard, not just on the woman but also on the man. Natalie deals with her feelings by working on a charity ball and ignoring Reed. Reed doesn't know how to deal with it and when Natalie shuts him out, it just gets worse. Thinking that buying a lake house will spur somethin ...more

Shattered Dreams is the second instalment of The Bradford Sisters. A great continuous on from book one. We have Natalie and Reed just happily married and expecting there first baby.

Circumstances arise and Reed finds himself questioning Natalie and her job, there relationship suffers and mistrust enters into there lives.

I wont go into the story much, But Anna has woven and sweet, yet suspenseful romance into such a short length of a story. Its filled with heartache, suspense, romance and even a

I really enjoyed this family over the Thanksgiving holiday, cheering for their HAE. Can't wait for the final story and to hear about any little "miracles" from these great relationships. I will check out more of Anna James' work. Olivia!
