Riane Kinky Book Reviews
As reviewed on kinkybookreviews.com:
Now I hear a lot of readers say "Oh, romance books are so easy! I can write those!" Well, I've read a few of the books written by those people and sorry, I have to say that it's NOT that easy. Unfortunately, I say Lissa Matthews is one of the authors to blame here. I swear, she makes it look so simple to write absolutely AWESOME books!!! Revealed is a truly awesome book.

Now here's a funny part. This book is the first one where there is actual sex between Thor...more

In this final installment of Thor and Bobby’s relationship, Bobby was given a set of instructions to follow in the last book. A week has passed and Bobby arrives at Thor’s house having discussed he was gay with his friend Aidn and his parents. Bobby is ready to begin this relationship with all his heart, but he does have a few reservations about being submissive to Thor’s dominant. Thor claims Bobby and then all the self-doubt starts to form in Bobby. Mostly he just keeps thinking about everythi...more

This is the final book in the Masked series. Or should I say, the final chapter in the Masked novella? Having now read all 3 shorts, I would have to say that the overall package is disappointing. The story goes from two closeted men to full TPE with very little real depth or character development. After doing a bit of a search around I discovered that this series is a spin off from another book the author has written. This may explain some of the shallow character development & lack of back...more

Robert has revealed himself to Thor and Thor takes the knowledge of who he is well. But Thor gives him an ultimatum to see just how serious Bobby is about beginning a relationship. Bobby must come out to the people important to him particularly their mutual friend Aidn who features in another book related to the series. Then Bobby must come to Thor and they will begin a D/s relationship that they both want though neither have been in one before.

This segment fulfills the promise of the expectatio...more

It's a shame this author didn't publish Masked, Unmasked & Revealed as one book. It's also a shame that the editing wasn't better, especially in Revealed. There's a lot of potential here and I'm not sure if the abrupt ending of this book signifies another book in the works or whether Bobby and Thor's story is done. There's plenty of story left to tell and I was really looking forward to Bobby bringing Thor (what a silly name) home for Thanksgiving to meet his conservative parents.

I read masked, unmasked and (3rd book) all at one time. I enjoyed the three books. my only complaint is that they really could have been one book. I do not know why there were put out in threes but I know I would not have been happy if I had to have waited for the next book. So as an individual book I would say I would give it a 3 star, but as all three books togethere I would give it 5 stars.

I am loving this short series! These guys are great together. This book has everything that I loved about the first two, but is a little bit longer. Thor and Bobby are continuing their relationship, taking things sort of slow and learning about each other. I definitely want more of these guys. Had to drop a 1/2 star due to the multiple typos which distracted me from the story at times.

While I liked the series very much the final one had a ton of typos. One or two are okay, but there were just too many in my opinion. I loved the connection these two had. Very sexy and hot! I would recommend for sure!

I enjoyed this series so far. Hope she keeps it going. I would love to see the progression of “Bobby” and Thor’s relationship!

I really love both males on this cover, but that's all I like about this book. This plot simply didn't play for me.

This series is like a novella broken up in three parts.

Nice ending to the other two short stories.

This entire series is quick - the first two stories are particularly short. This has a bit more substance. As a whole, I liked it better than individually.
