You would need a popsicle stick to help your dick stay up if you didn’t take Viagra. I’m paraphrasing what shy Violet yells at her ex-boyfriend. What a great and unexpanted story. I wanted to read a purely smutty book and what I got was a great hot romance and two great book boyfriends Carlos and Morgan.

What a fantastic little short story! . Following bad experiences with anthologies/shorts, I had taken to not reading them for a while, however a friend recommended a few to me, including Blushing Violet, and I'm so glad I didn't miss out on this book.

Where are men like this? Only in Ms. Mayburn's imagination, I think sadly. On the one hand, what they did, keeping their association a secret from Violet, was a little underhanded, they didn't do it with nefarious intentions. When they started, who would have known she'd bloom with both of them? Or that they'd both grow to care for her equally? Or that she'd return their feelings to both of them?? I think this book was really well written. I know for 160 pages some of it had to move fast but if you don't think about it I loved it. I couldn't stop reading it once I started. I really liked it!!

I enjoyed the book, however, it would have rated higher if they hadn't fallen into bed together so quickly. It wasn't so much that they slept together, but that they were involved in a dominant/submissive relationship so fast. Blushing Violet is one of those stories you just gobble up. I started reading it, savoring the characters, the slow and sensual explorations but befrore long I couldn't stop and read it until Carlos, Morgan Violet's story came to an end.

Ann Mayburn must be psychic because she has pulled one of my top fantasies straight out of my head and written it practically perfectly for me and I loved it!
Violet is a lovely and sweet character and I felt completely connected to her. She reacted in ways that I could imagine myself doing.

A sexy, solidly engaging read with an awesome cover - not that I'm judging the book by it. ;)
I'd have loved to see more of Violet's initial forays into kink, rather than a skip forward after their first couple of dates to get to the menage stuff, but it was a great read nonetheless. Violet's a character who's easy to relate to (and not stick-thin like many romance protagonists - yay!), and the Doms are actually human rather than constantly stern and unapproachable - always a plus!

A very steamy BDSMesque romance about a full figured woman with low self-esteem who finds love and self-worth in the arms of two men. I like how Violet started out as a wallflower but began growing in strength as her men loved, supported, and encouraged her.........and did I mention that it was steamy?!?! ツ

I was sucked right in to Ann Mayburn's book Blushing Violet and it held my attention to the end the characters were likeable and I wanted that happy ending for Voilet and her two masters. If the book would have had a prologue it would have been a 4 star rating.

This book is going in the re-read pile. This was an almost home run for me. I didn't get why these two guys were so obsessed with Violet from just an email.
However, once I got passed that I LOVED the rest of the story. The sex was smoking, the idea of a dating website built around booms was great, and the coming together of the MFM was drawn out and delicious.
4.5 stars. I really hope there is a story about Bethany. Great secondary characters.

I totally love a sweet story about an underdog going and getting herself a bone! I say YAY for Violet getting herself two bones! One of the things I love about Ann Mayburn is that her books always come into my life when I need them. She's a great writer and her stories always have that "she poured herself into it" feeling. As always, Blushing Violet has a creative feel and the characters are amazing.
I loved this story as would any book loving, closet kinkster. The concept of an online dating service that matches people by their favorite books is a definate hit!
Violet is our classic recluse after being dumped by her boyfriend and left doubting her true desires. Well, until she meets Carlos and Morgan that is and her whole world opens up to hearts secret desires.
Ann never fails.
I had issues with the story but it was ok.
Ms.. Mayburn knocks another one out of the park with this one... That's two in a row. Makes me wish she spent less time writing historical theme books (as they arent my thing) and more on the rest.

Violet was a wonderful character. She was down to earth, hard worker and not a size six. I enjoyed her journey - especially with her job. The other thing to really grab me was the description of the photos that Carlos and Morgan did of the hospital.
