One of the most insightful, educating books I have ever read. This book allows for the ignorant reader to open their eyes at the real problem with drugs - prohibition. Dr. Rendall, quite satirically, runs through the history of drugs and the actions which countries have taken in order to gain power, money and reputation. I stand by the frontal quote of the book, "every policy-maker in the field should read it", by which my friend replied, "... They fucking won't".
