love this series!
EXCELLENT...What can I say, Carmeron, Cameron, Cameron, sigh... This was my favorite book of the series so far. I love the way the characters are developing. The lines are becoming blurred between good and evil. The motives are not always as they seem. Trust, can anyone be trusted? Great writing and imagination!! Several "cliff hangers" at the end of this one...VERY ready for the next!

Mandy's Review:
A well-written series, to me, is able to introduce new elements while still staying true to the fundamental design of the initial story. The Hunters of the Dark series does this.
In Face the Dark, the hunters have returned from their rescue mission in Greece. They've brought back a siren as a prisoner so the scholars can study her and try to figure her out. Almost immediately, they're called to a crime scene where it appears that ritualistic sacrifice and torture have been played o...more

Face the Dark is the third book in the series Hunters of the Dark, I really have enjoyed reading this series so far, Dave Ferraro writing is fantastic, and the series keeps getting better. After finishing this book I am ready for book 4.
The story continues right after book two ended. Shanna is still dealing with her dreams and trying to figure out how Diana fits into this all. Then strange things start happening in her sleep, no one really understands what is going on. A new character is introd...more

A 3.5 star rating.
This is the third book in the Hunters of the Dark series.
Shanna and the other hunters are "marked" to be killed by a demon. La Faer Noir (an organisation of monsters) are not happy to hear about this as they don't want Shanna to come to any harm, YET, until they have a chance to investigate her likeness to Diana, a deadly vampire from the past and the founder of La Faer Noir. They cannot stop the mark once it has been placed, so they come to an agreement with one of the hunter...more

Book 2 and 3 have absolutely converted me into a fan. If you've read book one and are not sure- keep going, please keep going! I'm very keen for more of the series!
Very 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' menagerie of critters and people who fight the critters. It's not 'black and white' on all vamps are bad, or all werewolves are just animals. Just like with people, even they have varying degrees of good/evil.
More to come.
