I really like this, as it gives clear explanations of the grammar and gives the grammar in nicely sized chunks. I should mention that I have studied only the first 3 chapters, which is all I needed for my class. This means I have learned, besides the grammar, about 75 characters. It is truly a blast, a great feeling of accomplishment, to speak Mandarin to native speakers and write sentences in Chinese!

I will continue to use this.
