Blair Dalton is the author of two science fiction novels and numerous short stories published internationally. She has been a newspaper columnist, an editor, and most recently a screenwriter. A script she co-authored, Don't Fall Asleep, was released in 2010, and a second script, Childish Things, is currently in production.

Her screenplay, The Alien Dude, was a finalist in the CinemaSpoke Screenplay
