Take One More Chance is a short novel by 17 year old Shriya Garg. Though, the novel is fairly well written, it is fairly hollow and full of cliches and stereotypes. This is the story of Naina Kashyap, a 25 year old young woman who is an accountant by force( because her father wanted her to be an engineer or, if things got worse, an accountant) and who is now now once again forced to get married. The only choice she has is whether to marry a boy she loves or take the one chosen by her parents. Ba ...more

Take one more chance is the debut novel of 16 year old Shriya Garg. The book is about the story of Naina Kashyap, who is everything that you can imagine a 21st century girl to be, but really not a marriage material. All the dates she lands in, turns into mishaps, and the boys over the hospital beds (really!) To make her l ...more

Bow down to the madame. :D :D..

Phew. That was something. Satire. A small word but it takes a lot to compel a reader to get submerged in the satire and enjoy it madly.

I enjoyed it like "Truly, Madly & Deeply".. ;)

When a 16 year old writes novels with such convictions you truly have to stand and applaud the effort. Even a veteran will appreciate it.

Naina Kashyap the central character of the book will make you fall down from the bed.. She's hilarious, bold, crude and outright single... Somew

This book is about a 25 year old accountant, Naina. She hates her job, is outspoken, and has a scalding tongue and unbeatable sarcasm & is protective over her siblings, cousins & best friend.

The plot is all about her quest to not oblige with her father’s wishes of settling down in life with an arranged marriage & her determination to find love in 6 months, failing which she has to bow down before her father’s wishes. And in a hilarious turn of events, which includes creating lists o
