The epic conclusion to the amazing Sabina Kane urban fantasy series by USA Today bestseller Jaye Wells.

Sabina Kane is on the hunt. Her prey: Cain, the father of the vampire race and the one who murdered her family and her friends. Unfortunately, Cain is hunting Sabina, too.

The one man who holds the key to defeating Cain is, of course, Abel. A mage with secrets to spare an

I just keep saying goodbye to one series after another this month. It’s oddly disconcerting. I’m starting to feel like some sort of book undertaker. To be honest, the Sabina Kane series was never among my all-time favorites like Newsflesh or Sirantha Jax, but I still had a lot of fun with it, especially Green-Eyed Demon.

Blue-Blooded Vamp was all action, with a few delicious, swoon-worthy moments and a long sort-of-epilogue that was equal parts cute and annoying. But I’ll get to that later. I sho

I FINISHED THE BOOK and it only took me like 5 months.

A quick run down of the series because I cannot be bothered with a review:

-Only the first 3 books are worth it.. the last two have tons of cheese and the 4th one was just a whole bunch of misunderstandings which was kind of a pain in the ass to read.

-The female lead remains kicks ass but it reads like a try hard kick ass instead of a genuine one. Also she is a special snow flake. Oh and has a tough armor and will not let anyone get through.

Jaye Wells delivers in the epic conclusion to the Sabina Kane series. The half-vampire, half-mage kickass heroine readers have come to know as Sabina has her hands full as she tries to hunt down her next prey. This time the man she is after is far more powerful than the last enemy she faced down. The biggest, baddest chick is hellbent on exacting revenge on the man who murdered her friends and family , Cain – the father of the vampire race. Nothing is ever easy for Sabi

Sabina gets to have her time with the father of the dark races after all, in this final installment.

We find her and the entourage in Rome looking for Abel. I think most of the readers have guessed who Abel really is. Well, apart from that, he is arrogant and very difficult to reason with.

Sabina has to prove herself though out the book and she gets to learn a lot as well. There is good enough action where she still is the badass we all know but with a bit of consciousness this time aroun

Sabina Kane, the former vampire-mage assassin, is on a mission. Her mission is to find the mysterious Abel and ask for his help in stopping Cain once and for-all. Abel is after all the only person who has had any sort of success in stopping Cain. Now, he is needed more than ever to prevent the destruction of the dark races. Along the way, Sabina will be tested and her patience tried over and over again until it comes down to her or Cain.

I can hardly wait for this final book to come out!! I don't know about everyone else, but I have a strong feeling that Abel is going to turn out to be Tristan!! Hmm....just gonna have to wait then. =/

There are any number of series about ass-kicking, supernatural, wise-cracking chicks with a chip on their shoulder, but the Sabina Kane novels have always stood out from the crowd in my eyes. Blue-Eyed Vamp is the fifth and last book in the series, and I'm sorry to see the end of this unique universe, but author Jaye Wells has wisely decided not to stretch out the story-line too much, unlike some authors I could mention (yes, I'm looking at you Laurell K. Hamilton). Perhaps she may revisit other ...more

For fans of the Sabina Kane series, this book rocks!

Blue-Blooded Vamp is the perfect series finale, bringing together favorite characters past and present for an amazing quest through the many levels of Irkalla.

Blue-Blooded Vamp begins in New Orleans, where our gang is assembled. Sabina, Adam, Erron Zorn, and Gighul are getting ready to go after their nemesis Cain. They prepare themselves with all sorts of magic and some of Madame Zenobia’s voodoo spells. (Love her name!)

Flash to Italy. Yes, fla

This book is the perfect ending for the series. It combines past and present in a satisfying quest to Irkall (the underworld) in order to defeat Cain.

This series has a little bit of everything - vampires, witches, demons, faeries and werewolves - heck even Cain, Abel and Lilith. What more can anyone wish for? I like how all the loose ends were tied in a neat little bow and Sabina (and her gang) only had to jump through a hoop or two (or a hundred). I'm going to miss Giguhl, he is hilarious. I ag

I'm not gonna make this long, this series was a great ride. I love the whole gang. The journey they had to travel and the sacrifices Sabina had to go through in order to achieve balance was worth it. It was a happy ending indeed. Definitely enjoyed this series. Highly recommended. =)

I have issues with this.
Really.
It frustrates me.

1) Sabina's constant recklessness
2) Her rage, her mouth
3) Cain
4) Daddy's issues
5) Not getting straight to the point. Beating around the bush
6) Catching Daddy
7) Whatever tests Sabina has to go through
8) The final showdown

And so the series ends here - and right on time too imho.

Sabina sets out on her 'fool's errand' with Team Awesome (of course) to finally do for the father of the vamp race, Cain himself.

I was glad that certain character's who had outstayed their personal welcome with me didn't get a whole lot of prime time in this finale, namely: PW aka Brookes, Mac, Georgia and Zen. Also, if I'm being honest, Maisie was getting on my nerves a bit too - perhaps the writer felt the same and concentrated her effor

Superb, awesome, outstanding, thrilling...I could go on and on, but you get my drift. We first met the lovely, deadly Sabina Kane in The Red-Headed Stepchild, her world revolves around being raised as an assassin for her maternal Grandmother, the cruel head of the Vampire race and having prejudice all around her because her "never in her life" father was a Mage, whom the vampire race abhors. A wonderful reunion with her identical twin sister opens a whole new lifestyle for Sabine...and then thin ...more

I'm not used to finishing a book series, so this book was a little bit of a milestone for me. Aside from the Harry Potter novels, I've never slogged my way through more than a trilogy. It helps when the protagonist of the series is an ass-kicking vampire like Sabina Kane. I'll take her over a toe-headed wizard any day.

Blue-Blooded Vamp picks up almost immediately after the end of the fourth book, Silver-Tongued Devil, in the wake of Sabina's sister's murder at the hands of Cain. Sabina wants rev

Review originally posted on my blog: A Book Obsession..

After the harrowing events of the last installment, Sabina has only one goal in mind. Revenge against Cain, for destroying everything she holds dear. She's bound and determined to kill him, even if it is the last thing she ever does. Problem is that doing so comes with the steep price of the deaths of the seven people closest to her, a sacrifice she isn't willing to make. But a powerful mage that goes by the name of Abel may just know of ano

So far, the best of the series and I do not say that lightly.

This is the first book where there is no problems with Adam and Sabina. It was really really nice.

The book pretty much starts where we left off in Silver-Tongued Devil, with the gang just getting to New Orleans. They are gearing up with the now loose Cain. They need the help of Erron, the Recreant, to get a hold of "Abel" to find out how they can get Cain back under wraps. Little do they know "Abel" is someone from the past and a MAJOR

Days after the ending of Silver-Tongued Devil, Sabina, Adam, and Giguhl are in New Orleans heading to see Erron Zorn to talk him into helping them find Abel, his contact in Italy who knows all about stopping Cain. But a wrinkle occurs, Asclpius the god Sabina owes not one but two favors to makes a dramatic entrance. Asclpius is taking priority over killing Cain with his trump card, and wants Sabina to kill someone and return a magical item to him. The ace is, this vampire's in Italy as well. Sab ...more

This ARC was given to me by Orbit in exchange for an honest review. BLUE-BLOODED VAMP is the fifth and final book in the Sabina Kane series written by Jaye Wells.

Sabina Kane, former assassin for the vampire race, is out for vengeance. Sabina, her demon Giguhl, her boyfriend, Adam and a Recreant mage, Erron, go to Italy to find Abel. Abel is the only person --- er, uhm, mage who may know how to truly defeat Cain --- father of all vampires --- before he is able to kidnap Lilith from

Merely few days after the event in book #4, Sabina Kane, her mancy lover, Adam Lazarus, and her Mischief Demon familiar, Giguhl are going to find the mage known as "Abel", the one who has trapped Cain, the father of Vampire race years ago. They need to stop Cain from barging in to Irkalla, to kidnap Lilith, since it will be the end of dark race as they know it, if such things happen. On top of that, Sabina must also fulfills the two favors she stacked up from asking the help from god of healing, ...more

BLUE-BLOODED VAMP is the 5th and final book in the Sabina Kane series. We have watched Sabina go through a lot since RED-HEADED STEPCHILD. She had been an outcast with the vampires and is now a respected part of the Mage family. She has lost, she has loved and she is ready to finally show Cain where he can stick it.

Sabina is still grieving her sisters death when she heads out with her lover Adam and her friendly demon sidekick Giguhl to find Abel the one person that might know how to defeat Cain

What a pretty good end to this series.

I liked Sabina more this time around. I actually found her to be justified the few times she lashed out at someone. Considering the major things she learned, I really couldn't blame her. I won't mention them because they are some serious spoilers.

The mancy was as hot as ever. I love Adam. Gighul was his usual hilarious self.

I will say that the journey through Irkalla and that final showdown with Cain seemed a little too easy for my liking. I'd have liked som

4 plus stars - Still reeling over the events from the last book, Sabrina doesn't have time to stop and give with big baddie Cain on the loose, and even though everyone has been saying that she's the Chosen she's going to need a lot of help to stop the father of the vampires in plot to get to Lilith - his success means the end of the Night Kind. So it's off to Rome with Adam, her mancy(mage) lover, and demon minion Giguhl to find the Abel, the only being who knows how to stop Caine. Wow Sabina ha ...more

Jaye Wells has ended her series wonderfully. I am sad to see Sabina and the crew in their final appearance but the way the story has been brought to a close is exciting, enthralling, down right exciting. Great job Jaye!Review to be posted closer to release date.

The conclusion to this great UF series takes Sabina and friends to Italy with the aim of hunting down Cain to avenge her sister's death. Before taking the fight to him, they must try to find the elusive mage Abel, who they hope will give them the edge they need to defeat Cain. Abel's true identity, however, proves to be quite the unexpected twist. Sabina has come a long way from the cold and lonely assassin persona we met in the first book - here we get to see how deep her connection with Adam, ...more
