This is a story about a whale who is plucked from the ocean to go to live in Marine land. He is sad that his friends aren't with him. But he learns tricks, and eventually the people bring his friend to come live with him.
I like and dislike this book. It shows people stealing a whale from the ocean, to put it in a park for people to look at. And I am against taking healthy animals from their natural environment. But it also shows how well this whale is treated while in this new environment.

This story is awful -- really, really awful. It's all about a happy little whale and how she was taken from her home to live at Marineland. Depressed, she didn't eat for nine days until she finally thought people looked sad, so she ate a tiny bit (yeah, okay). Then she cheered up, except when she missed her friend. But happy ending: the awful fisherman caught her friend and brought him back too!
