Given to me to read by my cooperating teacher, I realize I am using most of the techniques already, but found a couple more to try. It would be an awesome addition to the shelf of any new teacher who wants the baby steps to begin the process of their own management of the classroom.
Oh my gosh! This has changed my teaching style forever. I cannot wait to get back to my classroom and implement the changes!
... and if this is what you do --- SHOUT --- it's what you'll get. A MUST-READ for new teachers. It is packed full of classroom management strategies for all levels and grades. The thought going through my mind while reading this was "... my students mirror my actions and words ..."
