They changed the title of the book and series? D: Whyyy? I thought Weight of Stars and Songs of New Asgard were beautiful.
I also don't like this cover. At all. >_>

As a history and mythology geek of the highest order, I nearly squeed.
I have an irrational fear that this could go very wrong, but I will pray that it is as awesome as I hope.
EDIT:
TITLE CHANGE. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN.

Also:
Okay. That summary. Sounds way too Perseus Jackson to me. Please don't be a rip off, I will be so disappointed.
EDIT #2
Niiiiiiice cover.

Norse mythology? Yes. I Need.

Loki better be in it

The Lost Sun...
Hehehe. I love it when I understand the significance of the title of a book before I even read it.
Anyway, more Norse mythology. Hopefully less disappointing than Valkryie Rising.
Although "United States of Asgard" is not really a good sign.
...but Norse mythology.
I must read it, even if the series title is a bit cheesy. I gotta see how the author interprets all my Viking-god friends, especially Loki. (I also hope she puts Hugin and Munin in there.)

This DOES sound like a Percy Jackson book, but what I think is funny is that Rick Riordan was already planning a Norse mythology series, too. Ha. Obviously, this is different in the sense that Riordan mostly includes his gods as "family" of the main characters. This doesn't sound like that.
Surprised how much I liked it. Am very hoping the series aspect means more stories in the same universe, and not continuing the same focus characters.
Review someday?

What a fabulous book. Loved the world building and mythology, and what an amazing main character: a teenage berserker. Can't wait to read Book 2!!

It might just be me, but this reminds me a little of the Percy Jackson series, which is partly why I'm kind of really excited for this to come out.

My favorite by Tessa so far. The world of this book is rendered so perfectly. It's intricate, complex and totally plausible. The main character, Soren, is easily one of my favorite book males to date. I wanted to be on this journey of his with him and his friends. The writing is beautiful, the story well-crafted. Epic is the best word to describe it.
