This is obviously the major history of the Holocaust (hence the 4 stars already) and certainly replaces Martin Gilbert's brave attempt. It's a book to read slowly.

I'm borrowing a copy from the library and trying to reread it. Have read it 8 years ago, yet unmethodically, skipping from front to end to front again. I remember I literally shed tears on reading some parts of it. Will try to follow up with a review.
