Recommends it for: Kids in their first year of school like Millie
This is a lovely transitional text for 5-7 year olds who are ready to stretch as readers but still want the comfort of a picture book. This picture book comprises of four 'chapters' about Millie. In the first she is told 'how to draw' by a fellow kid but learns to trust her own artistic instincts. In the second she loses her first lost tooth in the playground (something that also happened to our oldest daughter!), in the third she wants to give her teacher a present, and in the last she performs ...more
