The Tragedy of Knowledge was intense and action packed. I have loved The Resistance Trilogy from the beginning and have followed it all the way through. The journey you are taken on with Gavin and Camille is enthralling. I have loved it every step of the way. The passion the two main characters share can only be described as intense. I am so sad to see this series come to an end as I could read and journey with these two forever. Rachael Wade is an amazing author that I will always want more fro...more

Summary:

Tragedy of Knowledge is the last book in The Resistance Trilogy. Gavin, Camille and the rest of the Resistance must discover the secret to defeating Gerard, the father of all vampires, before he defeats them. The Resistance has one thing in their favor – they’ve formed an alliance with Gerard’s queen and ruler of Amaranth, Samira. She wants revenge probably more than the Resistance, but she’s frightened of Gerard and his powers as well. Will they discover the secret before it’s too late?...more

The Tragedy of Knowledge is the EPIC ending to the greatest series I have ever read. It is so full of action and suspense that it had me on the edge of my seat. Gavin and Cam are trying to restore peace and order to the Amaranthians. Gavin is leading the team in Amaranth and he has his hands full. They lost the first round but they are determined to win this round. As Gavin starts to set up for the final war he and Cam will have the fight of a lifetime. With the hybrid vampires on the loose no o...more

The Tragedy of Knowledge by Rachael Wade
Amaranth Trilogy #3

When the series began, protagonist Camille discovered the existence of an alternate realm, Amaranth, purportedly a “rest” region for vampires, those who no longer wish to continue as vampires. But it didn’t take long for Camille to discover that, as usual, what seems to be “too good to be true” usually isn’t what it’s cracked up to be. Amaranth is actually a feeding ground for the vampire ruler Samira. Camille,...more

The Tragedy of Knowledge is the third book in Rachael Wade’s Resistance trilogy. This book picks up right where The Gates left off. Cam is now a frozen soul. They have lost some friends in the resistance and they must keep going to find a way to free the frozen souls and Amaranthians. Cam, Gavin, Audrey, Gabe, Josh and others must find the way to defeat Gerard. Against what seems to be insurmountable odds and new betrayals will the resistance win out?

I loved this book just like the other two. Th...more

Oh my goodness, this book is too epic to put into words, but I will give it my very best shot! I think I loved every single thing about this and to be honest I'm a little bit gutted that it has come to an end! I'm secretly hoping that the Wonderful Rachael Wade will consider writing a book about the very intriguing Clea, as she has stunned me with how much I'm drawn to knowing her story, so fingers crossed *hint Rach*! This stunning final instalment is wonderfully written, perfectly paced, acti...more

When I first read Amaranth in October 2011, I was so excited to read something so original. Rachael's trilogy is not just about your traditional vampires. Rachael's are magical and spiritual, having deep backgrounds. So when I read The Tragedy of Knowledge I was sad, because I knew it was ending. This book showed us Gavin and Camille's true relationship. I was so happy to see them finally together in The Gates, and they certainly didn't disappoint this round. The...more

Once again, Rachael Wade has written a brilliant novel. The Tragedy of Knowledge was a great conclusion to the Amaranth series. The book picks up where The Gates left off. The main characters, Camille and Gavin, along with the rest of the gang need to try to find a way to destroy Samira and Gerard and the vampire curse. This is my favorite book in the series. The plot was very intricate. It made me laugh at times, and was heartbreaking at others. I was upset when a certain character died. The cha...more

I have been a big fan of The Resistance Trilogy by Rachael Wade since Amaranth and I thoroughly enjoy her books.

The Tragedy of Knowledge is the final of this Trilogy and it did not disappoint in any way. Camille and Gavin were as dreamy as ever and kickass awesome. This book is cram packed full of excitement, romance, tragedy and all around awesomeness, I am truly going to miss the characters especially Aud and Gabe. I loved seeing certain vamps get their due justice and I loved the scenes in my...more

I loved the first two books in this series and Rachael Wade has become one of my favorite authors….but I was a little disappointed in this one. Don’t get me wrong it was good and wrapped everything up nicely; it just felt rushed to me. For some reason, I kept getting the feeling that Ms. Wade was just trying to get this one over with. It was very short and had me wanting more.

A battle is looming, Cam and Gavin will need all their strength if they wish to defeat Gerard. Leading the rebellion back to Amaranth, Cam must convince Samira to aid them and with the help of the witches try to break the curse. The Book of the Ancients is the key to his undoing yet they will all have a part to play before it is over. Scarlett is her usual manipulative self and gets more than she bargained for but it is what she so richly deserves. Sometimes when you sacrifice everything to save...more

“Love couldn’t be moved by circumstance, poor choices, or even blatant lies—skewed and damaged, yes, but the heart couldn’t deny what it wanted most once the desire was planted. Whether in bliss or affliction, love owned you all the same.” 20 people liked it
“I turned to face Audrey, and everything I loved was right there in her eyes, the memories tangible: the schooldays and sleepovers, the cheap bottles of wine and sappy chick flicks. She was there for my mother’s drunken relapses, there to hold me until I fell asleep the first time the ex from Seattle hit me. It was all there, and my God, each memory was suddenly sacred and the sun rose and set upon it.” 9 people liked it
