Full disclosure: I laughed my way through Book 1 in this series. Book 2 left me nauseous and seriously PO'd. So I'm not exactly an objective critic at this point.

WARNING: This review contains a LOT of naughty words.

Joseph and Cady's story

CADY-DID JOSEPH BWAHAHA!!!!

Ok, I have to admit, I wasn't sure about the magic, voodoo, Creole thing, but I'm here to say... It effing worked!!! Not only in the story, but for me as the reader... very believable... This one is my favorite so far... I am in love with yet another McKoy AND I've planned my trip to New Orleans!!!! The basis for the story was heartbreaking, but hopeful... I found myself waking up in the middle of the night just bec...more

Sable Hunter is a truly amazing story teller. This was a beautiful and powerful story, so raw, passionate and real. Once I read the epilogue, it brought me to tears. This is the best of the stories so far. When the story first started, I wasn't sure where Sable was going with it. I have to say that was great and it made the story. A reviewer said they didn't like that she used a lot of her material from the second book. I enjoyed that she did use her material. It gave me a sense of familiar. I w...more

I loved "Her Magic Touch!" The main character, one unusual to most stories, is one you don't like very well, and as he earns your grudging admiration, he turns around and does or says something else to make you not like him very much. It's that push and pull with the main male character Joseph McCoy that keeps the story interesting. You keep hoping he will learn the error of his ways and turn into a decent human being and it is just that which keeps you reading.

I loved this book although Joseph annoyed at times, well actually annoyed isn't the right word, more frustrated to be honest. He's a great guy with a big heart but at times he came across shallow and he didn't treat Cady very well at the start. He was very cruel to her, which (terrible as it sounds) I could actually kinda understand, espeacially as he always regretted what he said and beat himself up over it. He was in a really bad place, putting on a mask for his family but hurting pretty bad i...more

Not as good as the previous two. The hero was too self-centered for too long. And while I didn't mind the magic healing, the angel thing was just way over the top. The plot in this one was much weaker than in the previous two as well. That being said, when the hero wasn't being a jerk, he was super hot, and the heroine was sweet when she wasn't being a doormat. I liked the steamy parts and the overall message of love making you beautiful.

I was so looking forward to finally getting to Joseph's story. I didn't expect there to be catchup, recapping from the previous books. Found this a little annoying, but i can see that it was neccessary to get us to where we needed to be. That said Joseph's story wasn't short, the recap was extra.

Joseph the handsome dare devil in the family, always having to prove to the world he was the very best, thought himself invincable. Until that fatefull day, when he has an accident that leaves him paraly...more

I have terribly mixed feelings about this book. It ended well enough and it was a relief something went right. However, through out this book Joseph acted like a complete jerk. I spent most of my time itching to reach through my kindle and bitch slap him into next week. 90% of Cady's interactions with him were just miserable. Joseph is basically a shallow, indecisive, conceited, moody, insensitive manwhore. Who starts making out with another Woman in front of their love interest because they are...more

Loved, loved, loved this book. I'm a big fan of Sable Hunters books. I'm not going to lie, I read them for the cowboys in her stories and their love and devotion to the ladies in their lives. Moving on the women, I don't care for. They are dependant, weak and have no backbone but it makes the cowboys all the better so I'm not complaining. But in Her Magic Touch, Cady is different. She's strong and indepenant. She can be slapped in the fast and walk away with her head up, back straight and a poli...more

Book 3 in The Hell Yeah series. This is Joseph and Acadia's "Cady" story. Joseph has become paralyzed from the waist down after an accident. Cady is a physical therapist and also Joseph's Guardian Angel.

I agree with some of the other reviews that were written about Joseph's character and wanting to bitch slap him. There were times he was downright cruel. But I can't help but think after reading the whole story that there was more to his actions. I wonder if he was A) scared and b) in severe pai...more

Her Magic Touch, Hell Yeah! III

Joseph McCoy the dare devil of the McCoy Brothers decided to push the limits one more time at Texas Motocross when fate stepped in. He was seriously injured, paralyzed from the waist down. His days of hell raising are over…or are they.

Acadia/Cady lies in bed with dreams of guardian angels and Joseph, it is not her first dream of Joseph, he has been in her dreams so often she has fallen in love with him.

Enter fate, Cady is hired by Joseph as a physical therapist and...more

I have to honestly say that the first 25% of book grated my patience. The flashbacks that were quoted word by word from books 1 and 2, were like fillers than "tying lose ends".

Now, for the paranormal; not my thing and even after this book, still not my thing. Although it was well written and script nicely into the story line, I will refrain from reading things that come from another realm.

Like the previous installments, the love scenes are HOT. The terms of endearment were a lot more bearable...more

"Her Magic Touch (Hell Yeah! #3)" by Sable Hunter
(borrowed from Kindle Lending Library)

This story was a let-down after "Cowboy Heat" (Aron & Libby) & "Hot on her trail" (Jessie & Jacob) which I enjoyed very much. Each of the stories overlap so you know the direction the next story will be going when you get to the end of the previous book.

So far, the McCoy brothers have been dream heroes who fall hard and fast and are a bit caveman "mine!" about their females. What's not to love? Jo...more

I an re-reading this series this book is the best of the series so far I didn't like Joseph at first but he totally redeemed himself. Fantastic series Sable

I'm going to be a hard on this book because while some sadistic part of me enjoyed the pain it was only because I was expecting redemption. It didn't really come.

The hero was just so mean to the heroine. Constantly!!! She didn't come across as a doormat but I really needed a little more reaction. Could she really be that good natured as to accept the insults from him?? Then the betrayal and doubts at the end was confusing. I'm not even sure why they questioned her in the first place.

Very HPesque...more

I hate to review books in a negative view, but there were several issues I had with this installment of the Hell Yeah! books. Joseph's view of Cady was horrible to begin with, then once
they sleep together, she is "beautiful" to him. I understood the reasoning behind that, but it still bothered me. I also did not like the way Joseph felt about himself after his accident. He still had so much to live for, that not being able to "be a man" was really the only thing that bothered him. I always like...more

After Joseph's bike accident leaves him paralyzed, he can't help but feel sorry for himself. He feels like a burden to the family, he mourns the loss of his career, his so-called friends and countless female conquests have distanced themselves from him, but what hits him the hardest is that he doesn't feel like a whole man anymore. When a family friend tells him about Cady Renaud, a woman with special healing powers, he jumps at the chance even though he's skeptical. He agrees to let her help hi...more

Hmmm, what to say about this??? H was a selfish a-hole thru most of book, Heroine was an embarrassment to women as well as physical therapists.... She was weak & stupid. I believe in soul mates, I found mine, that wasn't a disbelief to me but she was so consumed with the whole soul mate thing that she let Joseph walk all over her.... She wasn't pretty til he said she was?? Corny effing dialogue and the overuse of endearments made me want to roll my eyes every other sentence.....sex scenes ma...more

As a woman who's battled the "ugly duck syndrome", I could relate to Cady - feel her pain. For quite a bit of this installment in the Hell Yeah series, I didn't like Joseph's character. I found him to be a douche. He constantly made Cady feel less than beautiful and no matter if a person is homely or not, they don't need to constantly hear how they are 'lacking" in the looks department. However, I know it was his "manly pride" causing him to behave like an ass so I kept that thought in mind as I...more

Her Magic Touch is the third book in the Hell Yeah! series by Sable Hunter. I am pretty sure I hear the angels singing. Finally, she is getting past the cheesy lines and phrases.

Joseph McCoy is the family daredevil. You name a dangerous stunt and he's done it and done it well. It's always been like he had a guardian angel watching over. That is until he is seriously injured during a motorcycle race. He's left paralyzed from the waist down and feeling hopeless. He thinks he could deal with the l...more

First thing I have to say about this book is that I thought she did a great job with Joseph's reaction to his paralysis. I have worked with many young paraplegic males and she nailed it. I have to say that Joseph is the one I loved to be mad at. He made me so mad so many times but he is a man and says stupid things (lol). This was a great book. Full of mystery and hot & steamy interludes. I have loved all the McCoy's so far and cannot wait to read more

The first 20% of the book was basically just a review of Joseph & Cady's meeting that had happened in the last book. I was very unhappy...then the new story started up and I was completely hooked. I loved the book!! I cried that Joseph could be so cruel to Cady. Women should never be treated like that. I was angry that she continues to take him being so hurtful to her...but in the end, everything worked out for the happily ever after that I love;)

Her Magic Touch was the 3rd in the Hell Yeah series! I really enjoyed this story. It was very different from the first two only because of Cady speacial gift. Joseph was the daredevil of the family and during a dirtbike race he was paralyized from the waist down. After a suggestion from a friend he decided to contact Cady and see if she would be able to help him. Cady turns out to be Josephe guardian angle - literally. I know that this book was hard for some people to believe because of the para...more

This was such an emotional story. I couldn't put it down. Cady is a healer, an empath, and a physical therapist, and one of the nicest people, everyone wants to have a friend just like Cady. Joseph and Cady are dynamite together. They burn up the pages. I didn't want the story to end. This is going on my keeper shelf to be reread on days when I'm feeling down. You must have a comfy place to sit, a box of tissues and a cold drink. You won't want to go to bed until you've read the last word. Sable...more

She also loves to research the supernatural, but shhhh don't tell anyone.
