Recommends it for: Families with little ones
I checked this out of the library for me, because I miss reading these kinds of books to my kids, who are too big for story books. Obviously I haven't outgrown kids books! These are really quaint stories of real kids in neighborhoods like I remember where we all rode bikes and played together. Her illustrations are wonderful.

A lovely book from my childhood.

I haven't read it for around five years but I can still recall every event of the 'concrete' story - proof of how it's stuck with me :)
