Score Sheet Summary

Even when I read Satisfaction Guaranteed, the first book in the Satisfaction series by Tori Scott, it was Regina Baker and Sam Hyatt’s characters that sucked me right in and held my attention, more so than he actual hero and heroine in the story. So I was very much eager to get my hands on their story when it released at the end of last month, and though I liked the overall story, I wasn’t perfectly satisfied with how the story...more

A cute and sappy short story with a friends to lovers theme. Very similar to the first book in series with a big grand gesture by the H to show the h how much he loves her. I liked the first story better because I thought the hero was sexier in that book and the story more comfortable. Sam, the rich heir who doesn't know love or what jeans are, was a little more dorky and stiff than Gray (book 1's hero), but he did try really hard. I loved Reggie, the heroine who was in love with Sam since 3rd g...more

Reggie is an independent woman who runs her own business but has one big issue. She has been in love with her best friend Sam since third grade. Sam comes from a family of wealth and feels an obligation to wed for standing not love and Reggie is no where near his class. When Sam and Reggie's best friends Cara and Gray decide to help push tithe issue Sam realizes love is more important than Beebe and Reggie is his chance for happiness. This trilogy is very cute and has some very hot moments.

I had such high hopes for Reggie and Sam, and I was somewhat disappointed. They connected better in the first book then they did in their own. It took too long to get to the heart of the story and then it was over too quick. Sam's upbringing was unusual, but for all the time he spent with Reggie, Cara and Gray, you would think he wouldn't be so oblivious in the ways of love. I liked him, but the author portrayed him as an idiot.

I'm curious to see how the author handles Mitch and Angel.

This story picks up where we left off in book 1 "Satisfaction Guaranteed" bringing our favorite characters smoothly into Sam and Reggie's HEA. The story was balanced really well managing to include Cara and Gray as well as the introduction of Mitch and Angel all the while never overshadowing the main couple. Something that stood out to me and was truth be told refreshing was the slight awkwardness and uncertainty Sam went through. Don't get me wrong strong, alpha male leads are hot but every now...more

I absolutely don't know how I'm supposed to shelf this book- I liked the characters, but the whole piece was too short to reach full potential. And: the sex scene absolutely wasn't satisfying after such a long build-up...if sex isn't primal and cathartic, it tends to leave me cold.

Straight from the book: "Two people . . . opposites on the financial scale, fall in love despite all odds." This second installment to Scott's Satisfaction Series was so sweet. I loved Sam and Reggie together. Looking forward to Angel and Mitch's story next.

I loved Sam and Reggie's charming side story in Satisfaction Guaranteed. Unfortunately, what I loved about them in the first book was missing in their own. Making Perfectly Satisfied a less than satisfying read....more

It was okay, not my type of book but I did read them both so I obviously thought they were okay :) If you like romance, you will like it more than I did :)

Nothing against this book or the author. I just couldn't finish this book. I think it's me, not the book.

“She came up for air, ready to apologize, when strong arms lifted her from the water and firm lips captured hers. She knew, even without looking, that it was Sam. And she put everything she had into the kiss. If she only had one shot, she’d make it her best.” 1 person liked it
